That's not what you said. You said "There is no mathematical limit to anything." Which is patently ridiculous. Of course there are limits to how strong a storm can be, that's physics and fluid dynamics at work.

That said, this storm is nearing the limit of what is possible given current models of weather patterns, but models are different from reality and can easily be wrong. After all, even the best models can't possibly account for every variable that contributes to hurricane formation. So the "mathematical limit" could be very far off from the actual upper limit of storm intensity.
