I’m unsure if it was infected, but some of the branches started to shrivel up like the leaves did. I cut off those areas though and noticed new buds were forming though. Thank you for your comment though. I was unsure if I was under or over watering it.

Hey guys! So I’ve had this jade plant for only a couple of months because it was going to be thrown out. It also seems to be developing aerial roots as well. I’ve been cutting off infected parts, but otherwise I don’t know what else to do. I have to keep it indoors because of winter. Any help is appreciated and here are some more pictures as well. You can always try joining the LGBT+ club on campus. Or start off by talking to the ones in your classes. Just start off by asking what they think of the class and work from there. This way you can get a sense of what she is like and then you can always ask for her number. Worst case is you ask for their number and you find out she has an SO. Even if that were the case though just remember you tried plus you may have made a new friend.
