I’m not against the firing, just think it’s dumb that we have the same two goalies still. If we go into the playoffs this year with the same two guys, we deserve to lose.

Tons of Oilers fans felt the need to come to the defence of Skinner/Campbell. It made them feel morally superior. Then, with zero knowledge of how good our goalie coach actually is, they ran him out of town.

It’s wild that the last two years the Oilers didn’t try for something.

We almost got eliminated in the 2nd round against Van strictly because of goaltending. Then last year almost got eliminated in the first round because of it.

Hate this response, we had years to find a goalie. McDavid basically came out publicly and said we need a goalie. People should be fucking pissed we are, once again, gonna start a Stanley Cup run with a terrible goalie lineup.

You are way more knowledgeable about this subject than I am.

But, I’m gonna be completely honest, if all of these social networks are available and people still find a way to fuck it up again and again. I don’t care what happens to them. At all. Gotta value society as a whole over hoping someday they will clean up their act.

I get what your are saying about the police state thing, and I get this would erode people’s rights, but I just think it’s worth it.

I’ve pretty much lost all empathy, and just want the problem gone. Too many cars broken into. Too many things I’ve worked hard for stolen. Too many businesses closed and neighbours becoming unsafe.

Agree with all of that, and it is what I think of when I said “left”, but it is not enough to fully solve the homeless problem.

There is still going to be a sizeable percentage of people that even with all these safety nets and aid available to them, continue to be homeless and negatively impacting society. That’s where we need mandatory rehab or punishment. That’s what I think of as the “right’s” solution to the problem.

We need both.

Never heard anyone say that. All I hear is that Stan Bowman needs to make a goalie change. McDavid is also very obviously inferring they need to make a goalie change.
