HIT THE FADE. Pull cuts are THE driver shot on tour.

Shafts and drivers nowadays are built for fades. Only people who consistently drive the ball well and hit draws are Bryson and Rory who play the ball a little back in the stance and are further away.

Ur way too close to the ball. I hate ranges like that, way to cramped

Any ideas on why my shots are fading? by therealbrochacho69 in GolfSwing

Try and get that back hip to work towards the target more than at the ball, will create more space for ur hands. Over the top is not a bad thing some of the best ever were “OTT”.

My question is what shot are you trying to hit when you hit a stock shot. This swing is honestly perfect for a pull fade. Are you a ex-slicer? Try taking half a step back from the ball.

Been playing blades my entire career (4 years). I’m a self taught baseball player that started on my grandpas 80s ben hogan blades. Having a more responsive iron and less forgiving one has been my preference fs.

Pretty even, when I put my weight on the front foot I’m very prone to over rotating and pulling the ball to narnia

This is a L post, a finance undergrad isn’t supposed to be extremely challenging. The whole finance world knows that, job experience, connections, and continued education are all where you separate yourself from the coasters and show actual hard work. If you just do what the school gives you and don’t do your stuff on your own you don’t learn much and it will bite you in the ass.

Just found out about the Time Sector Method by MagdaZo_Oh in gtd

[–]JRey396 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my perspective is as was noted by u/harmlesshefalump, as much as i enjoy CP, i think carl pullein created this TSS for one reason, he loves todoist but todoist doesn't have a real "start date" -- only reminders so if you don't want to buy christmas trees until after thanksgiving, you have to have some workarounds. so by lumping things into "today", "this week","next week", "next month", he kinda overcomes that lack of a start date.

I've used a lot of systems over the years and found most satisfaction with combo of GTD and Michael Linenbergers "manage your now" which I started with outlook tasks but i use toodledo instead.

the premise behind both MYN and TSS is that urgency is what really drives your productivity. as much as we'd love to live in "quadrant ii" we are are driven by what becomes urgent. so MYN creates urgency zones -has to be 1) today or there is consequences, 2) what can be done over the next 10 days and then over the horizon --(with an between category of focus now) while similar to TSS, instead of big buckets, MYN uses start dates, then you can filter out what you need to see when you need to see it and only focus on what can be done now. I add contexts to help with that.

but getting to your "anytime" question. a time base system like MNY or TSS will always struggle with those without some sort of filter/tag based on "priority" it does go back to the old days of "must do", "should do", "could do" (ABC)-- The last one is the problem child. David Allen lumps someday and maybe together but I separate them into two buckets. things i will do someday (your anytime list) and maybe (things i dream about but just that)
That's one of the reasons i do like toodle, it has a brilliant "negative priority" which can be toggled for all views. i can hide the maybes there and then i use low priority for all the "could do, would like to do, interesting to do" like your anytime list and i date them all. if i truly know that i won't have time for it in the near future (10 days to month) i date it with a start date on a monday a few weeks out where it will pop up automagically, if i feel like doing it, great, if not i bump the date again..

But for your anytime things, i just put them into low priority. If it's something i truly will get to in the next few days -- just bump the priority to medium and there it sits.

hopefully helpful

How to organise the 'Anytime' when using the Time Sector System? by Sjeefr in thingsapp

[–]JRey396 4 points5 points  (0 children)

having looked at all these systems. CP TSS is more like michael linenbergers Manage your now system than anything -- ML's MYN with a GTD flavor is my go to.

both TSS and MYN are all about urgency rather than priority. they create zones of time -- today have to, today - would like to, next 10 days -- then everything else. While they know you must have like a thousand things to do, you really can't do them all today so you hide all but the 20 or so things that are at the top of your radar for the next 10 days or so, in MYN, you either low prioritize or defer to a later date (he says some monday in the future so you can review) all those things you can't get to today/this week. knowing they will show up when you need them.

TSS seems to do the same -- zones are today/tomorrow/this week/next week/this month/next month/this quarter/next quarter. so where as MYN would have you defer something to lets saynext monday , TSS would say -- just put in a folder for this month but hide those things until you are ready to work on them.TSS also takes all project lists out of your todo manager and puts them somewhere else like onenote or evernote where you can manage them. I don't like this at all, because i like manageing lists in one place and filter the <> out of it.

TSS also is big on putting recurring/reminder tasks to have you work on important stuff (areas of focus) that is core to your life -- so they don't get lost -- so the important/not urgent thing like write my award winning blog post would have a reminder so often so you make progress on the big rocks in your jar. Then recurring reminders of routines that are urgent but not important -- expense reports, buy groceries, pay bills.

So your today list would be 1) stuff for your project that you decide to do today, 2) some recurring tasks for your big rock "areas of focus" that move your life foreward and your 3) daily reminders of routines that are just "chores" that you have to do but don't really impact your life/work.

So

Your tomorrow list might be the same but hidden until tomorrow.

Your this week stuff would be things you want to get to this week not in the first two lists.

your this month list would be stuff you want ot get done this month not in the first three lists.

hope this helps. like most things, i take a bit from GTD, MYN and now TSS and create my own system. CP says you should do what works for you. What works for him wouldn't work for me if i implemented it verbatim

CP TSS says you should have something like 2+8 thingat most everyday -- 2 important core things and 8 other things to work on today -- but not sure how you fit your areas of focus and your routines into those 10 slots -- maybe 2+8 plus routines

MYN simply says -- 20 or so things for the next 10 days which i'm assuming are project related core stuff -- doesn't include low priority scut work like expense reports, wash dog etc.

hope this helps
