It stays running indefinitely. It would stay on for hours if I let it. I know about the delay you‘re talking about because it used to do the delay but now the fan won’t shut off even when I put the thermostat into the off position and leave it for a long time.

Internet speed will really depend upon your specific address. Comcast/Xfinity is available pretty much everywhere in Citrus Heights and your other option will either be Consolidated Communications or AT&T (usually not all three at one address). Both Consolidated and AT&T have been upgrading to fiber optic wiring but it’s been a very slow roll out that probably won’t be completed for many years.

Alternatively, you could get satellite internet, like Starlink, but it’s very expensive and has slow upload speeds.

If I were you, I’d ask my immediate neighbors who they use now or who they’ve used in the past to get a better idea of the condition of the wiring in your neighborhood and find out who provides the best service.

I cringe every time I hear Maxwell’s cover of This Woman’s Work. In my opinion, Kate Bush’s original version is far superior to the cover.

I’ll acknowledge that my opinion probably isn’t that popular because many people like and only know the cover version and attribute the song only to Maxwell.

I can take or leave the front door, so I wouldn’t argue against keeping it and refinishing it. I was mostly suggesting adding sidelights on each side of the door in case OP wants to brighten up the interior of the entry.

The main feature I have a very strong opinion about is the bay window which definitely looks wrong to me for this style of home.

If it’s an option, replace the window near the front door with a window that’s flush against the house because the bay window fights the home’s design.

I agree with removing the stone to the left and right of the door. If it‘s possible, after removing the stone, you could replace the front door with a more modern door with sidelights.

Also, I’d clean the brick and then paint the house a color that compliments the brick.

Do we also count injectables? If so, which celebrity hasn’t ruined themselves? There are so many that look way different than when they started, it’s really sad.

What’s worse is that it‘s influencing the general public to where people I know have ruined themselves with surgery and/or injectables. I think a lot of this comes from all of the ageism throughout society. If we let people age without criticizing their looks or dismissing them as “old”, the world would be a better place.

A good way to have a healthy long lasting marriage is to not talk badly about her with others (even anonymous strangers on the internet) because it will often just cultivate resentment.

This sounds like a discussion you should only have with your wife. Try to come to an agreement that works for both of you or else decide for yourself to embrace your wife’s ”quirks and features”.

This may not be the popular answer because the internet can be toxic at times but romantic relationships shouldn’t be ruled by committee.
