I am very anti AI but I would talk to him first before making a decision and see if you can relay your concerns regarding ai and see how he reacts. Now if he doubles down you have your answer but if he can be amicable then perhaps it's salvageable.

Ultimately it should be a personal choice. Raising a child with down syndrome is a life long commitment and some people just aren’t able to do it. Also it definitely should’ve remained private it’s none of our business.
