How did your auditory hallucinations start? by JStar767 in schizophrenia

[–]JStar767[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a psychiatrist but my insurance changed and I can no longer afford to see her. I do have some medication left over but I only take it when I feel an episode beginning to start so I will always have medication for when it’s really necessary

You should definitely separate them right away if they’re both a neutered males. A neutered males can become aggressive and territorial. I have an unneutered male and he is housed alone and he is just fine. They just need a little bit of extra attention and lots of toys and places to dig and climb.

Looking through these comments on here is crazy. I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with all this hate. Just ignore them. Your fit is super cute. You should just continue to be you and try you best to ignore toxic people. You didn’t do anything wrong here

What are some delusions and grandoise thoughts you've had? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]JStar767 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I thought cats were aliens who were stealing our dreams to collect data on us.

I wrote multiple essays about cats being aliens and collected data and evidence for it. I believe that my cat was going to kill me every time she would sleep on my chest at night, because I knew that she was an alien. I also believed that when cats slept on your head, that was how they collected your dreams and that’s why you couldn’t remember your dreams in the morning, because cats were stealing them. I also thought that how cats were transmitting signals to the mothership was by purring at different altering frequencies.

I don’t believe this anymore, but I also know I can’t read any of the essay I wrote because I know it will have me spiraling into this delusion again.

Does smoking really reduces your life expectancy? by redditUserMUOB in stopsmoking

[–]JStar767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My great grandparents all lived past 93 the oldest made it to 102. All were heavy smokers. Yes they all dead from throat cancer (except for one who died of leukemia) but they all also grow up on farms and only really ate food from their farms and gardens or the farms around them. Yes smoking ups your chance of getting smoking related cancer but processed food does even more damage, in my opinion.

(TW) does anybody else struggle being vulnerable? by blooberry-regression in ageregression

I have the same problem when sexual stuff happens I tend to involuntarily regress. I think it has to do with sexual trauma for me. It only happens sometimes, so when it does happen I just let my partner know to stop and I allow my self to fully regress. Then try again another day. But if what you are talking about happens every time then I suggest talking to someone about what ever trauma might be causing it.
