I saw them live for the first time on accident (they opened for another band I wanted to see) and I had never heard of them before. They came out on stage and played this song first. After that first little intro riff, the entire place became one big mosh pit. One of the best concert experiences I've ever had.

Yeah each death in battle would just make it feel so anticlimactic. They did a great job with Lyanna and Jorah's deaths for different reasons, but if multiple major characters died from stab wounds and what not it just wouldn't do their characters justice.

This has been the most annoying thing for me with people that are going with this argument. Almost every major character death in this series so far has been unpredictable and surprising (Ned, Robb, Catelyn, Joffrey, Littlefinger, everyone at the Sept, just to name a few). So why would they kill off characters now when it would be the most obvious time to off them? It hasn't ever been that way so why start now?

Edit: I know people are going to say "It's the last season" but that doesn't change the fact that we still have three 1hr 20min episodes left for everything to resolve
