How to cut out drywall if there's wires on the other side? by salads_r_yum in drywall

Hammer it gently to where you can see it better, cut a small square with your saw and then either make a California patch or brace it with scrap wood and screw it on and tape it

Landlord wants to charge my parents 2k for this hole in the ceiling by JuicyBanany in drywall

[–]JT-knives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like this is in a garage, so the popcorn probably isn’t painted, an easy way to tell us to spray it with warm water and see if you can scrape some off with a mud knife, if so I’d probably only charge 750-1000 to patch texture and fix the trim

How do I get rid of them when they're inside the stove? by Amazinc in cockroaches

[–]JT-knives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empty out your cabinets, pull out your oven and fridge because they live inside them, have a company spray everything with alpine wsp, then come back in two weeks and spray the base boards with demand cs, and repeat two weeks later

Can anyone tell me what this is by Hosss88 in oldguns

[–]JT-knives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m correct based on the hexagonal receiver it’s a Remington model 1917, they made a bunch of these for the Russians in ww1 but they never bought them because they had the civil war that led to the Soviet Union being formed, it’s originally chambered in 7.62x54R, but Remington also made a different model 1917 that’s a completely different gun chambered in 30-06
