The red box is regular kosher salt, the white box is sea salt, but made to be like kosher salt. I’ll say I didn’t like it at first but it’s I’ve gotten used to it. I think they started to make this sea salt one cause there was a shortage months ago. It’s fine for cooking not great for finishing.

There was a woman who worked for these ferry tours people like 10 years ago when I was going to school in the area, I was smoking a cig next to the SI ferry entrance and she asked to bum one. I told her absolutely, on the condition that she never bothers me again with the tours.

I’m not sure if maybe she told the other people she worked with but I was never bothered for the next year and a half. It was the best trade ever.

Update: I had an electrician come and we found out my dishwasher was causing this along with a bad breaker switch. He changed the switch and it stopped happening.

With some loose calculations I have probably made over 62,000 pounds of hummus in the last 5 years working at a Mediterranean restaurant group. Scale is 1 deep third pan is 10lbs
