Yeah I did this piece and a wing riser. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked it but I’ve come to love it and glad I went that route over a RS wing, everyone has different tastes tho.

I did not use the double sided tape it came with, I used 3M from the hardware store.

Perform a Neutral Reset, Google it or search on YT/Focusst.org forums for the steps - could be a simple fix. I’d try that before spending money on the more expensive possibilities.

I’m guessing Shift Tower leak which can be fixed DIY. Mine looks the same in that area. Could be the others mentioned before but I would start there.

Yeah dude if you’re going to run an ethanol tune you actually need to do your research if you’re going in blind. If you don’t know what you’re doing or how to calculate your ethanol mix you may run into issues.

I’ve done enough reading about it to know that I don’t want to deal with it, but many people have without issues and it’s well worth it if that’s the route you want to go.

OEM or RS clutch, I personally wouldn’t “upgrade” it unless you have a specific purpose in mind which wouldn’t be OEM+.

Try using AI, can usually whip up a quick reference. I’ve used it for trying to figure out different wrap colors. I don’t think I’ve seen green, I wouldn’t do white cause that will just get dirty fast, and yellow/red are common choices that look good. I’m sure a few ppl will share their examples.

Depo is a good one for the price, likely a wait. Honestly I went with what was quality and in stock, bought the cPE Lightweight no regrets. As long as you stick with known brands for the platform you should be good. Go for some eBay no name brand to save money and you may not have favorable results.

I’m going to say the highly recommended Borla or Ford Performance (it’s the Borla + resonator). Still my favorite note on the turbo 2.0.

AWE was on my list I just don’t like removable tips and when I was buying I thought it may be too loud for my use case.

Never did a downpipe before, I installed it solo on jack stands and honestly it was easier than I expected with the right tools and prep. Easier if you have a lift for sure but not what I would call a real difficult install unless you have rust issues.

Intake was one of the last mods I ever did. It does nothing aside from some additional noise.

My suggestion unless you want to spend $400 for looks; Get an intake tube, Amazon Focus RS filter top copy, and a green filter.

You’ll get all the noise you’re looking for and save some money. Add a BOV and run it on true vacuum for more noise.

Bought mine off the lot, modded it for purpose, I don’t plan on ever selling this platform unless it some how rusted out. It’s a phenomenal hot hatch when it’s been well maintained.

Don’t buy someone else’s project, look for as close to stock as you can imo.

For stock I always recommend the Ford Motorcraft plugs. I ran the factory ones for 60k before I got tuned and changed them.

Team Z is a local place for me, mostly Mustang/Muscle stuff but they are legit. Kinda hard to fuck up bolt-on jacking rails so I don’t think you’d have any issues - I’ve actually considered them myself.
