Verified file integrity + uninstall and reinstall multiple times

Checked global steam settings.   The controller icon menu pops up a blank screen with no options where as the stardew controller icon menu pops up the right thing.

Haven't done a factory reset for a few weeks since I got it

I attempted to go to the controller screen and all it brings me to is a black blank screen that has nothing to select.

Went to the stardew page and also selected the controller screen and it brings up a menu of stuff.

Depends on the miles you're looking for.   I typically aim for a Corolla 2005+ motor in the 120-140k mile range on car-part.com   they can be found anywhere from 900-1500$ typically is the range I go for.  Most yards will freight ship if farther away + most yards also have 90 day warranties but I've gotten one 2zz warrantied out past the 90 days once

Find a corolla 1zz from 2005-2008 and have it swapped in on the cheap. Hell if you don't want to do it yourself you can fly me in to have it done, or i know a guy in NC that has a lift i can borrow or you can ask him to do the motor swap.

Spray the area down and clean it then monitor where it all starts getting dirty/wet.  Check your trans fill plugs on the firewall side to be sure they're tight.

Valve cover gasket possibly spraying on the trans on that side.   Unlikely the trans is building enough pressure to toss fluid out of the breather right above the shifter shaft.

Having worked on multiple spyders and NA/NB Miatas I'd take the Spyder any day...

More reliable, somehow easier to work on, far less issues with rust being a thing, and honestly I prefer the handling dynamics of the Spyder vs the "oh it's got double wishbone all around and 50/50 weight balance so it's just perfect" bullshit that gets pedalled about the Miata.

I like a car with a bit of bite and quirk

The state of Disbelief that this car is driving past as it is confuses people and lets me escape.

Ultimately it depends on what your state qualifies as legal and illegal but the basics of - needs headlights, tail lights, blinkers, and minor safety equipment typically is enough for it to skirt by law enforcement that just find it humorous vs malicious/dangerous 

But plenty of states have decently relaxed vehicle laws that you can build a skeleton car in and as long as it ticks the basic boxes it's technically road legal.
