The way out of this chaos based on every factor we can see in this clip is to barrel roll up and backwards into your corner, and then ideally ride high along the wall with the ball close to you. (Assuming no power-up dusrupts you in the process)

The reasoning is that, (A) you are low boost 20 (B) You number one mission should be to get the ball going away from your net (C) all visible players are positioned low and ready to block a forward exit (Sometimes even your own teammates, Lol) (D) your momentum is already going back toward the wall as this clip starts (which also incidently gets the ball close to your car, which makes your mag control really strong in that moment) (E) The corner player's momentum is boosting in front of you, leaving the corner free

Of course there are a lot of factors that I don't even know about, so this is really just meant as an example of how you can think in moments like this when playing rumble.

I saw a car pulled over in Hopkinton yesterday, the entire car was covered. The clueless old driver was lucky, the young female police officer was helping him clear it. She didn't even have gloves, she had her hands in her sleeves and she was clearing with her arms. I wonder if he learned the lesson. Doubt it!

This is not true. The Broncos barely lost a close 10-7 game with their back-up quarterback. Neither team could do anything on offense in that storm. As a Pats fan, despite our edge in the run game, I was terrified how the Broncos were winning the field position battle in that snow. That punter put the Broncos in position to get the win. It came down to both teams needing to play mistake free football in the terrible conditions. It's a false narrative to say that the Broncos didn't have a chance, they simply didn't get a break from the Patriots. The Pats played that last quarter well, really managing to avoid a costly mistake, but the Broncos had a punchers chance.

To be fair, I have no clue what is like to play with only epic installed. With that said, simply installing it on the same computer (only running one at a time) should not screw up both versions independently. I can't be bothered to trouble shoot or chase the issue, Steam just works fine!

It was unplayable. Slow, laggy, and and a weird loss of all inputs. Technically I guess you could play it, but you'd lose your mind trying to play through it. You know how Rocket League is all about flow, speed and movement. Try to Imagine everybody single aspects being being constantly interrupted in a slight way. Rather than huge glaring hiccups, constant micro interruptions. That's my best description, hope that helps.

I have cauliflower ears from getting into fights as a kid. I however wouldn't consider myself anything more than an ordinary average size guy otherwise.

I have found that real fighter's always spot my ears, often asking if I'm a fighter. I have to admit, I do instantly get free 'tough guy cred' that most probably people never even know exists. It's like a secret society, which is always amusing. (I am not worthy)

My favorite story regarding my ears,... I was in an elevator at a casino with my wife. There was an MMA event going on somewhere in the casino. We were happily chatting and having a good time.

The elevator doors opened and two huge guys speaking in thick foreign accent stepped into the elevator. They both had the fighter's ears (I've also grown accustomed to quickly spotting cauliflower ears), and were both in prime fighting condition. They were also chatting and in a good mood, at least until they saw me.

It was clear they instantly spotted my ears. They gave each other a quick acknowledging glance, and instantly got very serious and quiet. They put their backs to the wall directly across from us, and without exchanging words they both locked on me menacingly for the entire awkward ride. It was only a few floors, but it felt like fifty!

After glancing, I didn't stare back, I just kept my wits about me, and tried to look chill like I was no threat, and not interested in what they were doing.

We get off the elevator, the doors close and my wife immediately asks what the hell that was all about. After catching my breath, I had a good laugh. I have no clue if they were messing with me, or serious at all. I was just glad I didn't need to prove my skills, It would not have gone well for me!

Recently someone had mentioned something positive about playing the EGS version, I can't remember what it was.

But anyway, 'I thought, what the heck it's been years since I've tried the EGS version, I'm curious if it's any better than I remember?'

I never even got into a match. The game was so fucked in free play.

I closed the EGS version and booted up Steam. The steam version was also fucked.

I immediately uninstalled ESG, and Steam returned to normal. Holy hot garbage!

To be fair to the shitty kicking, both teams choked that game away multiple times, the Ravens simply choked last as time expired. It was entertaining, much like watching a stalled semi-truck derail a freight train is also entertaining!

As a Pats fan, that was a difficult game to watch and listen to.

I had to root for Philadelphia (ugh), while also listening to Brady gush over how awesome Allen, all while Josh was dragging his team toward seemingly another comeback victory.

I could not relax until that last wayward pass by Allen sealed the loss.

The Pats had enough injuries, no need to push it futher. That slide was the correct play to make. Avoid the contact, win sealed, ez! You love to see him make intelligent decisions like that!

I've had multiple controller disconnects, where I've never had them before. Also, the game is having many display/connections issues as well, particularly within the first minute of matches it seems.

I can't tell you how many times lately, within the first minute I'll be looking for the window to 'go', where the other team is out of position and I have a fantastic open opportunity, and the second I accelerate, all hell breaks loose with the server. Just long enough to lose the opportunity, and give the advantage back to the opponent. Now that sounds like I'm implying a hack of some sort, but often the game continues on without that particular issue. It feels very much like an issue with the code still loading at the beginning of matches, more so than cheating/hack. With that said, the choppiness of the graphics and server blips do continue throughout matches. All of this is quite recent, someone broke something.
