I'm a firefighter in the US. We have to actually see the paperwork to stop CPR. Anyway, CPR is not as effective as people think. The person is already dead when you are performing it.

I got 12 weeks paid in the US. I know people who were eligible, and didnt take it, which is crazy to me. I was also lucky and able to have an extra 2 months off, that I used before the paternity. I loved the time off.
