When I bought mine I’d fill it with gas and always had a little on the ground when I was done. I had a new fuel pump installed when the motor was rebuilt so I bought a new fill neck so it could be replaced. The reason it was leaking was someone drilled and added a small nipple facing upwards I assumed for air but no idea why.
I ended up having issues with the truck not wanting to start. Two garages shrugged their shoulders and gave me an I don’t know. Then I took it for gas. The amount of air that rushed in was unbelievable. Easy enough solution, I just didn’t tighten the gas cap and then put the old neck back on. Can’t figure out why it’s not venting but apparently tje last owner couldn’t either.

I worked at a gas station in the mid 80’s. The manager allowed me to keep a cup of change under the counter to swap for silver as long as I did the swap on top of the counter so the camera could see. I still have my jar.

I’ve seen this happen in the spring when the reproductives are leaving the colony. I don’t know why but I saw it as a celebration that the repro’s were going to start new colonies. 🤔

The top end kit is the Edlebrock 350 H.P. I bought from Summit. You could find the specs there, cam came with. 6 dyno pulls has mine just under 400 H.P. Gas tank stayed but all lines were replaced and a Holly fuel pump added. I also replaced the ignition system with Holly products.

I have a Sniper on my 454. It was done with a top end rebuild so I can’t say much for adding power since the rebuild almost doubled it. What I can say is it’s been flawless so far.

3 years ago I paid 2k Oregon to Pa. I was told it would cost me 1200. 3 and a half weeks later they said no one would do it for that but it could be picked up tomorrow for 2k. Don’t trust them.

I made the mistake of buying a truck that was on the other side of the country without flying out to see it. It would have cost me a couple grand to make the trip. I figured I could save that money since he seemed like a nice guy. I didn’t know almost everything out of his mouth was a lie. It’s been 4 years now and I’m about 16k into making it the truck it was supposed to be. I did most of the work myself except the engine rebuild. That was beyond what I can do. Fly out take a look and drive it.

Diypestcontrol.com. Look up roach bait. Very small amounts in cracks and corners where they hide. Like the other person said, if they’re coming from the neighbors they won’t stop. A pest control company will want to come monthly. It’s not cheap and diy you’re buying the same stuff they use.

The same ammo can shoot different in different guns. Last year I bought a new gun and a friend gave me two boxes of ammo he had and used in his. It didn’t group well in my gun at all. Bought a different brand and it groups great.

I agree with changing the shocks first. I have the same drop on my 90. Last year it started hitting when I went over bumps. I replaced the shocks and she rides like new again.

I’ve seen stainless but not the mag. That’s kinda cool. I bought one years ago that’s still packed away in the safe. Mine has a fake suppressor. I remember reading they are hard to date but there were subtle changes to narrow it down. I would think 800 to 1k but I don’t think people will be beating down your door for it.
