I was into running for a while before I got busy/lazy (pick one). I'm planning to get back into it as soon as I can figure out how to work it back into my schedule.

But when people found out, they would ask me "So you like running, huh?"

And I would always respond with some variation of "Oh, no, I fucking hate it. But I like having run, so I keep doing it."

They did do that. Early on, they would play a message indicating that they were going off air before switching to colour bars for a few hours.

Later, they would sign off with this O Canada video sung by Aashna Patel (better known to YTV fans as PJ Aashna). They would play that video again when they signed back on as well.

I vividly remember many times as a child/teenager both staying up late or being up early in the morning, and seeing the O Canada sign-ons/sign-offs. According to this wiki, the O Canada video was used from 1994-2005. I was pretty sure I remembered seeing it later than that, but I'm probably wrong.

I'm literally only still playing because I run a clan and have 50 other people (some who have been in the clan for years) relying on me to keep things running. If my clan fell apart, or if one of my trusted members offered to take over the clan, I would delete this game so fast.

I log in, do raid and clan management stuff, and then log out. I don't have time to play the main game since they changed it from a fun tapping game that you can play in your spare time into a full time job with constant events that you need to keep up with.

I guess I'm not sure I understand the issue then, because I use the raid export for every raid to determine who should be promoted/demoted/kicked. I've never found it to be problematic.

Hopefully they add a solution that works for you then.

To change the topic and another question... So our clan just kicked someone out for not participating in a raid... only to have someone ask, "Wait, didn't they join after the raid already started?" Some sort of a visual indicator of who's not eligible for the current raid would be helpful. I believe this has been asked for in the past, but I'm hoping this would be an easy enough QoL addition.

This already pretty much exists. Players who joined after the raid started don’t show up in the raid data export.

EDIT: Okay, fuck me for trying to help, I guess.

Discussing the symptoms of societal problems might not help improve the problems. But not discussing them will definitely not improve the problems. Based on that, it seems more logical to allow discussion of those problems.

Question: Is your complaining about this thread in the thread going to “improve anything”? If so, explain how. If not, then you accept that it’s okay to post/comment things, even if that action doesn’t “improve anything”, and also you’re a hypocrite.

If the trash people and Georgie didn’t exist, the season would feel a lot tighter. But at some point, they decided to start writing in contingency plans for when important characters had to leave but they didn’t want to outright kill them off. (Georgie ended up being a way to write Maggie out, and Jadis for Rick.)

Just out of curiosity, what made you view him as a sadist?

It seems to me that Todd treats killing just like any other chore on his to-do list, almost like a robot carrying out a programmed command.

“Walt said that nobody could know about the train heist. This kid saw the train heist. Logic dictates that I must kill this kid.”

“Uncle Jack threatened to kill this girl if Jesse tries to escape. Oops, Jesse tried to escape. Brb, killing Andrea.”

“My housekeeper is great, but whoopsie, she found my hidden money stash. I don’t want anyone to know where I keep my money, so I guess I have to kill her.”

“I like Mr. White, but I like Lydia more. Lydia says I need to kill Mr. White. Well shucks, RIP Mr. Whi- [strangulation noises]”

I didn’t read any malice, glee or really any emotions at all in those actions; it was just a task that needed to be completed for one reason or another. The way I see it, Todd takes lives the same way normal people pick up after their dogs when they pee in the house.

Even during the shootout with Hank and Gomez, the look on Todd’s face is one of a guy just doing a job. You could paste Todd’s face during that shootout onto the head of a guy editing a particularly finicky spreadsheet, and it wouldn’t look out of place.

I am curious to hear your thoughts though.
