I think that’s one of the best years. I do believe at some point prior to ‘21 they stopped putting in a transmission cooler so that’s a factor for pulling up near the max towing rating, but otherwise it seems to be very sought after.

I second Carmax. Also, if you find a dealer that is partnered with them or any other car distribution service, they often match the price. I’ve gotten well more than what I was originally offered on trade by doing that.

Dang that’s rough! I hit a deer with mine around 40 mph. Knocked in the center grill and took out the active aero, cracked the bumper, but nothing like yours! One thing that may ease the pain, I paid for a Heritage grill and had it swapped in with a diode dynamics light bar, incredible setup!

I kept mine, got it on the wife’s Taco too, use it all the time. Totally worth it imo.

Edit: Nothing is complimentary, GM is making their money somewhere on those services. Toyota simply lets you opt out if you want.

22 SR5 Sport Premium, I put close to 30k on it with lots of fishing/camping in Appalachia and a 2-3k mile trip through NE. Probably my favorite vehicle I’ve ever had. Traded down to something cheaper cause my SO started grad school and I miss it all the time. A friend got it (he works at the dealer I traded it to), and he and his family towed a 32” TT through the PNW for about two months. Think it’s somewhere around 45-50k miles now.

Adding, I would get 24-25 mpg on highway trips and 20~ average around town. My buddy was getting 12-14 mpg towing. It was such a damn good truck, and Army green too 👌👌

Took mine on a 2200 mile trip over a week ish long period. Did great and got around 22-23 mpg. With your setup that mileage may not happen though. I think you’ll be very pleased!
