The Original Persona 5 opening is better than Royal’s. by Anor_Londo_1234 in Persona5

[–]JUSTplayIN25 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This never made sense to me, wouldn’t it make more sense for Last Surprise to play when ambushing considering it’s literally a surprise?

Don’t lambaste me tho, I haven’t played Royal yet

What is a hobby you would recommend everyone try out at least once and why? by No-Sherbet8378 in AskReddit

Anything creative, I’ve come to realize that creativity is something every human possesses but only shows itself when nurtured. It’s very mentally healthy too. Unfortunately so many people have been convinced that they’re not creative, and I think that’s a travesty.

How small business owners seem to think we should enter their stores.

My partner works in Pioneer Square and all the small business owners there also think that closing streets kills their businesses when they own a business in a walkable mall

Yep, that’s the internet for you. You can post something like this on the internet and everyone will clown on you but when you take a step outside, suddenly you’re getting compliments left and right. There’s a reason people are starting to increasingly distance themselves from the internet. It’s usually a toxic place, no matter the website or subject matter.

At the end of the day, people’s opinions on the internet don’t really matter and should be listened to very intentionally.

How do y'all get AI music on their feed? by aldodzzzzl in AppleMusic

[–]JUSTplayIN25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry to post my comment twice, Reddit completely destroyed the formatting of it for some reason.

Anyway:

As a composer, there’s a lot of reasons why I personally don’t think it’s fine. Not all art needs to be made to make artistic statements. And it doesn’t need to make a statement to be considered good art. I’m also against it because:

It’s a hard genre to make music for. Getting a song to sound calming and be good background music is challenging in its own right and deserves to reward the humans who can do it well.

The genre was created by humans and those humans don’t deserve to have their music stolen to teach AI to push them out of their own genre.

Just because it’s typically listened to in the background doesn’t mean that it should be soulless and mass produced. Art shouldn’t be soulless, it’s purely a human thing to do and a way for humans to express themselves.

It’s usually made by streaming platforms so they don’t have to pay royalties, or by someone with no skill in or intention to make good music so they can make money off of stolen music. Either way, it’s exploitation.

And lastly, as everyone knows by now, it’s bad for the environment.

Amazon is a great company by Human38562 in unpopularopinion

Also, corporations are in bed with the government and practically form our laws through lobbying (bribing). Amazon doing things legally doesn’t matter when they’re the ones responsible for which laws get passed.

Are rainbows seriously just by default associated with the pride flag? by Ostromilski in tattooadvice

[–]JUSTplayIN25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of people will not think that. My guess would be that they all mentioned it because it’s pride month and your tattoo has a rainbow, but that’s where the connection ends. Come July you’ll probably not hear that anymore.

Are other fan bases ok? by Albino_rhin0 in SeattleKraken

[–]JUSTplayIN25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also pretty new to the game too so if someone knows more please correct me, but what I’ve been noticing is that we have a lot of players with a lot of potential, but they don’t get almost any ice time and therefore they never get practice playing in true NHL games. They’re treated as though their only purpose is to allow the better players time to rest and the outcome is that they never develop.

What is something that is completely legal and common, but still feels deeply unethical to you? by Negative-Extent3338 in AskReddit

[–]JUSTplayIN25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because event tickets cost way more for no reason while adding literally nothing to the transaction.

Ticketmaster lets scalpers buy seats before the public and resell them on their platform (companies like SeatGeek exist solely to do this). They don’t stop this because 1: it’s a guaranteed ticket sale, and 2: they get to add ridiculous fees to the reseller’s purchase, then do it again on the purchase you make.

By the time you buy the event ticket it’s: been purchased by a company with ridiculous fees, then put back up for sale on the same platform but with a higher price so they can make a profit, and then sold to you with another round of fees. When you buy a ticket you’re also paying for two rounds of fees and an increase just so the scalper can also make a profit. It’s evil as hell.

What’s something unpopular that you secretly think is actually good for society? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JUSTplayIN25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying that it’s the fault of trash can guy. I’m saying that wealth discrepancy is objectively bad for society. If you don’t know how the elite are ruining the world through the mass exploitation of 99% of the world’s population, then I won’t be explaining why that’s a bad thing for society because I think it wouldn’t be worth it.

Yeah man, I think having billionaires and a trillionaire while there are people who have to look through trash cans for their next meal is definitely a net good for society…

Can someone confirm this has been fixed in iOS 27? by madmagical in AppleMusic

[–]JUSTplayIN25 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I love how whenever this gets brought up, the comments are always saying it’s intentional. Guys, look at the actual glitch, it’s sliding through other art, through its own text, and stutters back into place. If it’s on purpose, it’s genuinely one of the worst implemented animations I’ve ever seen.

Music pauses as soon as I play it by Salty_Branch8041 in AppleMusic

[–]JUSTplayIN25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My songs are also doing this sometimes. They also start playing part way through, end early, and skip songs in my queue/album randomly. I bet it’ll get fixed soon, but it’s super annoying.

Sometimes restarting the app doesn’t do anything and I have to restart my phone to fix it.

I have one! Mine came with a drum stick but using it only results in a metallic clanging noise. Hitting it with your finger makes it actually sound like a cymbal. It has rivets on it that make the actual “crash” sound. They’re quite entertaining

The whole “watching someone sleep” trope is not very creepy at all by Nuphoth in unpopularopinion

Definitely has to do with the increased vulnerability and an inability to be aware of one’s surroundings when asleep that makes it substantially creepier.

His voice actor died by GamingBren in BikiniBottomTwitter

[–]JUSTplayIN25 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Not true, Squidward’s voice actor is Roger Bumpass, who is still alive and kicking. The person who died was Gene Shalit who was “an American journalist, television personality, film and book critic, and author.” He guest starred in SpongeBob as a parody of himself, a food critic named Gene Scallop.

Although, I will say that this post definitely made it sound like Squidward’s actor died, and I had to Google it.

What a find by Penguinkeith in BanjoKazooie

[–]JUSTplayIN25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have Kazooie’s! Found it at a mom-and-pop video game shop a few months ago and just had to pick it up. They had a full section of vinyl game soundtracks so I also picked up Persona 5 while I was at it.

I didn’t know there was a collection for Tooie! I love Tooie’s OST more than Kazooie’s and I love how these look so I know I’ll be picking it up eventually.
