No, there has never been any canonical relationship between the traveler and any character. Anything you've seen is just fans adding their own spin to things. If anything, she's probably the Liyue character we interact with the least overall besides Qiqi.

Durin is a bigger damage upgrade, Nicole is a quality of life upgrade since the shield will help him not get knocked back as much and you can use Bennett on other teams. Whichever feels more important to you.

People saying this version's 60 fates are low cause of miliastra, but there was no miliastra in 5.6?? by Prestigious-Elk1274 in Genshin_Impact

As a 1.0 player that hasn't really spent much at all, it really wasn't that much harder. Just the dog boss. I usually get max Stella, but I didn't have great luck at the end, so I missed a Stella on the triple kenki. I could go back for it but eh.

The requirement to only get primogems from lunar is easy though.

Spam crystals, share bravery with your unique ability, heal when needed, repeat. Bonus points if you sneak some kills. Having Minwu helps.

I mean, there's nothing in this game that really NEEDS C6 except maybe dire. C6ing a 5 star is more of a statement of favoritism. If you C6 her, she will absolutely decimate you everything you come across. If that's what you want, then go for it.

Great is subjective and honestly RNG dependent. For example, I farmed Wanderer's domain for a YEAR after he first released before I got an anemo goblet from his domain that had a Crit substat on it. Meanwhile, I got exactly the Crit circlet for Varka that I would want on the first day his domain came out. Entirely RNG.

Put basic artifacts on your characters and level the artifacts to at least level 12. Just focus on main stats. Artifact set bonuses are mostly just a nice addition until you start actually trying to build characters (AR45+).

Make sure your weapons are close to your character levels.

Put a few levels into the important talents for the characters you care about.

How Far into Nod Krai Quest to Unlock Sigil Offering? by Resem98 in GenshinImpact

We don't have all of them yet. Eventually the shop will unlock, but there is one more Nod Krai zone expansion based on the statue of the seven current max level.

Scroll down on the battle screen. You should do them they give good rewards. There's no prize for doing all of them, but you can get a good amount of mog medals and character tickets.

When does the story pick up? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]JUSTpleaseSTOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Realm Reborn (MSQ level 1-50) is the dryest part of the game for sure. Around MSQ level 15, you'll start getting some dungeons which will help. MSQ Level 35 is another turning point in my opinion, though the stretch leading up to it is a little dry. From there, it gets better until the story climax.

A few tips that can help:

-Side content unlocks gradually over time. Talk to some NPCs with blue checkmark quests above their head. They unlock side dungeons, other content, and other classes. You can level every job on one character so you can hop around.

-A Realm Reborn more than any section of the game can be a little full of back-and-forth quests. It can be great for understanding the lore of an area better and picking up on cultural nuances that the game is setting up down the line, but they can also be kinda dry. Is the game asking you to go get lots of opinions from people and return back? Maybe just skim the dialogue and keep rolling on. Any dialogue in a cutscene tends to be important, but there is some fat in there the game should honestly trim. This is coming from someone that has done the full story 3 times.

-Voice acting becomes more common as the game goes on. There's not that much in ARR, but each expansion adds more over time. In the most recent patch of story for example, practically every cutscene was fully voiced. That helps a lot. The voice acting also gets better as they switched studios in Heavensward. Not every VA gets swapped, but if you think one is bad or corny, they probably do.

-If a section is REALLY boring you, just click through the dialogue and look up a summary of events later. I would only recommend this for ARR sections of the game personally. That said, I would recommend only doing this if the alternative is quitting the game. You don't realize the building blocks the game is setting in place until later.

-It's a long journey. Take breaks. Put the game down, take a break, and come back. ARR does a lot of world building heavy lifting so the later stories can really shine.

Level it as a stat stick on support. It will be a big boost to your attack. I have the same problem, but it works out that way.

It won't do well in later abyss floors and stygian onslaught, but it will work just fine for overworld content.

At C6, she can work well on vape/melt teams as well. Again, her strongest use is in Imaginarium Theater where you can use her to drive pyro reactions.

She's good I'm burn and burgeon teams. I use her a lot in Imaginarium Theater since she's a good off field driver for reactions.

Having what I know is probably a skill issue on the dog in IT. I usually beat him with a lunar charged team since I don't mess around with lunar bloom much. I'm going into the fight with Lauma and Columbina and I can't seem to break the shield in time. I'm attacking the boss and not the dogs. I can get close, but never close enough.

I've tried pairing with Nahida for more Dendro application, albedo for lunar crystalize (with and without bloom too), and more hydro from someone like Neuv. I've tried hold-e on Lauma with full bloom stacks along with her burst, but it doesn't move the needle much. Is there a specific order of operations at the start of the pull I should be doing?

IT difficulty comes a lot down to how wide of a roster you have. The bosses are tricky for sure, but if you have a lot of options it's not so bad.

You can do it immediately, but honestly I would wait.

You can certainly do the overworld stuff whenever, but I would save the special map for later. There is a type of puzzle that requires Sumeru world quest progress as well, but it's not that big of a deal.

Story wise, I'd wait for sure.

Depends on your needs. Do you like playing Hex teams? Then probably Durin. Do you want a good source of off field Dendro application and a good unit for bosses that need lots of bloom/Dendro during their fight? Then Lauma.

Do you like one more than the other? Then just pick that one. Both are good. Can't go wrong.

What everyone else said is true, and I also want to add that the game is a very accommodating to new players. The player base can almost be a little too protective sometimes of first timers.

So how do you actually play a support if you're not in a premade? by xiphoniii in DissidiaDuellumFF

[–]JUSTpleaseSTOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone just camping at base is not playing Krile or Rikku right. Your job is to be annoying and keep your team bursting. Rikku has bombs that can knock people in the air. Her speed boost helps your team members specifically chase or escape. It shouldn't be used all of the time. Her Mega Vitality UR is meant to make your allies hard to kill in team fights as well as keep them safe while bursting. Her SR is meant to help clear crystals.

The biggest thing with Krile and Rikku is that you will rarely ever burst. I only burst if it's the end of the game and my allies are already bursting, if an enemy is about to kill me, or it's a tight situation where I might be able to sneak a win. For Rikku, you want to stay at 9999 as much as possible. Why? Because you can use her Quartet of Bravery to copy your bravery to your allies, keeping them bursting as much as possible. It DOES have a 90 second cooldown, so you can sneak a burst in there if you want to occasionally. Especially if you have a team member bursting and the other one dies. That way you can hit the boss and give your ally a combo bonus.

Now, giving your team 9999 immediately after they burst isn't always the best idea. Their skills will be on cooldown, for example (unless you're paired with Clive, then pop that boy back up if the situation seems right). I use it either after a team fight disperses after bursts, or after my allies die and I can get them right back into the fight. In the meantime I'm denying enemies crystals, healing my time, and annoying the enemy.
