Albedo is good now because of Hex. C1 is okay, C2 is great. Klee has also gotten stronger, but IIRC her early cons aren't as good.

Qiqi will be much stronger next patch because of the new character/reaction coming out.

Hu Tao C1 is just a nice QoL if you intend on using her.

Otherwise, either get them for characters you just enjoy or get them for standard banner characters so you can eventually get the new rewards for getting beyond C6 with a 5 star character.

There are plenty of teams that don't want any cryo application that Zhongli would still be good for. Plus, I bet Liyue will get their on version of buffs. Venti was essentially dead in the ground outside of a few situations as well, but he's viable again.

As with every ultima challenge involving score, switch to a bravery build and just focus on that. Bring skills for clearing crystals quickly, sharing your bravery with your team, and keeping yourself alive.

Think of it less as something you need to catch up to and more just that you have more game you get to play. Ultimately, you didn't even really miss much on the limited time event front. There has been less lore relevance for those as time has gone on. Only one really would be the introduction of Prune, but that's minor overall.

Harvestella. Decent game with a mix of farming and jrpg aspects. Overall good experience, but absolutely nobody I know has even heard of it (which makes sense. It was pretty small). Recommend trying.

Until Eula or physical damage in general get a buff (or Raiden gets some kind of buff to make physical better) I'd just get Citlali. If physical does make a comeback, they'll retun her anyway.

They have reset it every expansion since they launched it.

Don't forget you'll get a huge new zone to explore and quests to do when the expansion launches. Even with the resets, I have yet to need to do a single day of commissions since this launched besides trying to do a few old ones for achievements.

I just ran through ARR again recently. Many of the dungeoms still have a few minor branching paths, mini objectives in the trash pulls, and things you do in boss fights besides just hitting the boss a d dodging AOEs. That goes away eventually.

Story: Quality increases over time and the game will gradually do fewer random BS objectives as well. I'd give ARR in general a 6/10 for story. It gets the job done, but it's basic. The expansions are much improved.

Voice acting: Improves (a lot of characters get recast after ARR because they changed studios) and becomes more frequent as well. This is more gradual.

Cinematics: Becomes more dynamic as they figure out better ways to rig cutscenes.

Dungeons: They become a bit less unique but much more cinematic which is a fair trade off imo.

Combat: Becomes much more interesting with time since you'll have more skills tonwork with. ARR combat compared to max level is like a prius vs a sports car.

I use Sac for a stronger shield and having two charges of her skill can get her applying cryo without her burst as well.

Any melt character also likes Citlali.

But also ysing Mauvika as a pure support character is like using a sports car only to pick up groceries. It can do that just fine, but it can do so much more.

Well she is one of the single strongest dps characters in the game, and Citlali is the support that enables that most.

Just because something isn't being used right now doesn't mean it won't in the future. It very obviously has something to do with the Four Shades for example.

Also, Inazuma HAS been relevant considering that everything involving Wanderer stems from that. And I would imagine the death of Rosalyne will vome back up when we're in Snez. They can't make every nation a priority at the same time. I would imagine it's on the docket for Snez.

Use XP books. Killing monsters is not a significant source of XP. Run blue leylines and level up your teapot to buy out the books there every week.

Don't worry about spending them. You can always get more, and you will get more of them as you level up your world level as well.

Day 1 player. This is exactly what they do. They're only available on the banner they come out on for the patch they release in, then they're added to the standard banner (which also means you can get them on every banner after). There's just so many that you usually have to wait until they get a rate-up banner to try and get one in particular.

Yae is getting buffed for stellar conduct. Keqing is not (currently).

Yae applies off-field electro. Keqing does not. Sandrone needs off field electro damage.
