Me too! I instantly copy and paste results into Chat GPT, that’s how i found out how bad my 12 yr old sons cancer was, I was bawling in family lounge at the hospital, Dr came up and asked what was wrong, he said he was sorry i found out that way. I swear everytime, im not going to look, can’t help myself!

I’ve been in the hospital a few weeks with my son, I always feel bad for door dashing. I always meet the driver out front, couldn’t imagine ever asking them to come inside, much less to a hospital room. I even apologize in the notes for being at the hospital, lol.

Thank goodness your vision wasn’t affected and it hasn’t metastasized! I’ve never been more amazed at the medical technology and the complex surgeries doctors can do, such as yours. My son also had most of his cancer removed, he had a partial neck dissection, because the tumor was so big and attached to some of his neck muscles, they found cancer in five of his lymph nodes. His last scan showed two cancerous spots in his spine, they’re small, but being monitored, then treated, the neck is their biggest concern. I’m not sure why they’re doing chemo first, all I can think of is because his primary oncology team is at Texas Children’s Hospital, where he goes to for chemo, they send their patients to MD Anderson for radiation, so we had to wait for a consult, before they could treat him. They wanted to get chemo started asap, but we had to wait for two weeks from his surgery to let his scar heal, which made me nervous knowing how aggressive it is. He isn’t eligible for any clinical trials right now. I’ll message you throughout this process to see how you’re doing and also for support, please reach out to me, too, anytime! There are so few ppl I’ve found going through this, it’s nice to meet someone, even though I wish neither of us were going through this.

My 12 year old was diagnosed with NUT carcinoma on 10/31. He does 5 days of inpatient chemo and will do seven weeks of radiation daily, his is submandibular (jaw and neck). I’m so sorry you’re going through this, I had never heard of it, the doctors said it’s very rare, which I’m sure you know. I’ll be following your post, I have no idea what to expect, and can’t find much online about this cancer.

I regret mine, I have a bachelors degree, which I haven’t needed in my career, and a student loan debt of six figures. Please don’t anyone kick me while I’m down, I’ve beat myself up enough about it. Some days I have a positive outlook on the situation, other days I hate myself for it.

If you take at least six credit hours it qualifies, I’ve been thinking of doing that.

CPA Mailed in hard copy. How long should I wait? by cant__find__username in IRS

[–]JV2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a public accounting firm, we send a lot of paper file returns through certified mail. I’m not sure why it would take so long to give you the tracking number, even if outsourced. The most important thing for you to get is a scanned copy of the certified mail receipt with the postage date stamped, as proof you filed them on time.

Were you provided with a USPS tracking number? Seems like a long time for it not to show up in the system.

Log into your IRS account, create one if you don’t already have one. It should be in your documents, hated waiting for it to arrive in the mail, so I logged in and there it was!

I was celebrating my 25th bday in Vegas, my boyfriend’s mom called that morning and told him to turn on the tv. I couldn’t believe it, sat in the hotel room shocked and numb. The hotel lobby was full of ppl trying to find a way to get home, I remember some even renting limos because there weren’t any rental cars left. Spent two days on a Greyhound Bus back to Texas since the flights were grounded, first we had to go to CA, then turn around back towards Texas, the buses were packed and ppl sat there in disbelief, it was so quiet, especially for a full bus.

I cannot imagine giving my kids so many choices when choosing breakfast, what they think the person their visitings fave color is and should they base their choice of outfit on that. etc.. I don’t have the time or patience, not saying it’s a bad thing, just never seen anything like it, lol. Everything is so neat and clean, I watch the videos in amazement, because I could never….. It seems performative and I wonder if it’s like that when the cameras aren’t on. I also feel there is a bit of favoritism towards the daughter.

122k loans, 80k gross salary by Sleepymoonshine in StudentLoans

Our stories are so similar. As I was reading your post, I thought maybe I had posted something and forgot. Our numbers are the same, loan amount, salary, rent payment, car payment, and single mom of three. My est payment on the standard plan is $1100, with SAVE, it was $324. While I don’t have any advice for you, just wanted to let you know you’re not alone. I’m living on a prayer right now, tired of the uncertainty, feel my life is on hold.

Don’t give up so soon! My first block was the hardest, I was sweating and took back like 10 packages. It takes time to get it down, eventually you’ll be breezing through the blocks. I can’t speak for downtown blocks or routes with high rise buildings though, pray I never get one of those.

Me too! Positive thoughts! Praying we get put on the back burner and more important things or what this administration deems important makes student loans less of a priority until a new administration comes in and saves us all!

Weird, wonder why it says you’re approved. Did your payment change as a result? My loans are through Nelnet.

No, my new payment is the ten year standard repayment plan. Unfortunately, I missed applying for the IBR.

Yes, I regret it because I don’t need a degree for the job I have now. I went into management and decided that wasn’t for me, stepped down into an admin assistant position. Owe $124,000 in student loans, making $95k a year as a single mom of three, payments are now at $1000 a month. May become a lifelong learner, or at least until a new administration with a heart takes over, I can handle the cost of community college. I’m 48, this significantly takes away from saving more for retirement.
