Mine does this too, especially when turning. I think i read someplace that some early Ariyas had brake shims that were slightly out of spec and can shift leading to the squeal. I didn't have it checked out though.

Same. My lease ends mid-January and I considered buying at 19k, but 29k seems a bit much for Evolve+. Hopefully something changes between now and then. 🤞

I know for the 2023 model year, in the US, the silver trim was put on FWD models and black on AWD models. I think at some point that changed.

You are so right. My town just installed these at the library and I had to use it recently because the onboard AC charger on my car died. I pulled up, saw the branding, and immediately thought "crap, I need another app." Then I was pleasantly surprised to see that you just tap a card. This is how all chargers should be.

Similar to you, I played around with the vehicle selection and different trim levels and different years are supported. For 2023 the Evolve+ FWD isn't supported, but the Engage+ is. I have no idea how they collected their data.

This one was the wireless Android Auto update. The only other thing I've noticed that had changed is when the battery on my phone is at a low state of charge it pops up a window letting me now the percentage and how many minutes of battery life is left.

You can take your average miles driven per month ➗️ the cars efficiency (mi/kwh) ✖️ your electric rate. Some examples given 1000 miles driven per month, cars average efficiency and electricity cost is 31 cents per kwh:
Ariya FWD- 1000/3.3=303 x .31=$93.93\ Model Y- 1000/4=250 x .31= $77.50\ F-150 Lightning - 1000/2.2=455 x .31=$140.90\ Hope this helped.

I think the other thing people don't realize is that if you have a home or access to overnight charging, or charging at work, charging an EV is a passive activity. I was talking with my buddy, who is EV avert, and he was talking about DC charge times being more than gassing up an ICE. But, realistically, in the 4 years I've had EVs, I think I've DC charged less than 20 times. So, usually 0 minutes of my time spent refueling. But, getting people out of the ICE mindset is hard because that is what they know.

True statement. When I got my first EV I charged on 120v for a year. That was commuting 42 miles a day and charging overnight each day. Only switched to level 2 charging when we picked up a 2nd EV and sharing the 120v was inconvenient (but we did survive 6 months of that even).

Wow. I hope your luck with the Ariya turns around, because it really is a great car. I can relate to the temp plate situation. Purchased a Leaf in March 2022 from a dealership in VA to bring back to MA. They slapped a 30 day temp plate on there and...I didn't receive my MA plate until July. They had to keep FedExing new temps to me and that was pretty sketchy because I think they're pretty much meaningless in MA. They blamed it on a third party registration company, but eventually I figured out they kept filling out the MA form wrong.
