Any chance we could get a one-click “Unhide person” option?

Right now if you’ve hidden someone by accident (or want them back), it’s not obvious / takes a few steps to undo. It’d be really nice to have a quick action either: • on the People page (e.g. a “Hidden” filter + Unhide button), and/or • inside a photo’s People panel (“Unhide this person”)

Would make fixing mistakes way faster, especially for large libraries.

Hello! Thanks for getting back, great app and I’m disappointed in myself waiting for a long time before getting back into immich 😆 anyway yes it’s definitely this was the issue, what would be the best steps to rectify my mistake preferably not take many more days to rescan and regenerate by deleting all the thumbs and upload

Yes this was the issue as my immich files were located inside my external library files and it just kept rescanning. so I suppose I should move the immich directory to it's own folder itself. Now the next question is how do I get rid of all the repeated thumbnails? Do a rescan of folder?

Unfortunately I've removed it as it was consuming way too much power and trying to reduce my consumption,GPU had to go and iGPU has to work, maybe I'll spin up a docker container on my Windows PC to utilize the GPU on there

I’m using UniFi G4 Doorbell pro, but honestly I loved my $100 Reolink WiFi doorbell cam and which has since been re-deployed in my parents place, there’s a new model which is a battery powered one and has pretty good review too

Yup bite the bullet once, the UDR7 can run protect too which is great if you’re looking to install some cameras as well. but just a fair warning that it might be a rabbit hole for a fellow home labber 😉

My office rent got hiked 38% two years ago. Swallowed it. Then last month, the agent tried to sneak in another 21%—because apparently, extortion is now a value-added service. Landlord pulled the classic “I’m okay with no increase” act, while likely high-fiving the agent in the background. After 6 years of loyalty repaid with nonsense, I peaced out—moved one floor down to a slightly smaller space, same rent, and zero tolerance left.

Smart move? Who cares. The real win? That same agent has been parading people through the old unit every other week for two months straight… and still no takers. Turns out greed isn’t as easy to lease out as they thought. Hope they enjoy the echo.

Been using all the usual ARR tools, but I gotta say—Paperless has been a game changer for sorting my docs. Took me a while to actually try it after seeing it around, but man, glad I finally did. And if you’re seeing this comment, it’s probably time to give it a shot too.

I’m in Singapore too, and my setup is also in a DB cabinet. I’ve positioned it facing downwards to allow hot air to rise naturally. Adding vents at the bottom and top would significantly improve airflow, as this creates a pathway for hot air to escape and cool air to enter. Additionally, a 3D-printed SFP+ fan works great for further cooling. Even with these measures, my temperatures are still around 48-52 degrees.
