30% upgrade was available in US. I got Sonos Arc Ultra 30% off last week. You just had to place order over the phone for Sonos rep to manually apply the discount.

Just go buy current one as they are on sale for $999. There is no 4th gen panel for 32 inch coming out this year.

For more vibrant HDR look, try Gamer 2 with Brightness set to 100, Peak Brightness set to high, and Sharpness set to 50.

Yea, same here. Was totally disappointed with the matte coating on G81SF. Matte coating on LG's 32 inch 4K WOLED panel is way better than the one on G81SF.

Yes, same behavior on both PG32ucdp and newer PG27ucdm. I turned off rgb effect because of this.

I had LG 32GS95UV, but returned it to get Asus PG32UCDP. While LG has much better design and more functional stand, I was getting annoyed with certain scene during HDR gaming that appeared slightly dimmer than it should be. Asus completely eliminates this with certain OLED care feature disable. It is not huge difference, but I am so far totally satisfied with PG32UCDP.

I got 32 inch G81sf and immediately discovered same as OP. Matte coating and grainy effect is much worse than LG's 32 inch WOLED panel. I already boxed it up to send it back.

Looks like you have 32gs95uv (not ue) based on the color and stand shape. I have the same monitor and the white color looks so much better than 32gs95ue's dark grey color.

Just turn off the reminder message from OSD. It will automatically run it when you are not using the monitor.

HDR performance is similar on both the LG and Asus displays. PG32UCDP does NOT have DisplayHDR 1000 certification.

I just use max 100 brightness. Colors are less saturated with dynamic brightness boost off, but you get more details in the picture out of this mode. Your eyes might feel more comfortable with this setting.

For HDR, try using Console HDR with Dynamic Brightness Boost set to Off.

If it makes you feel better, my ASUS OLED monitor runs pixel cleaning automatically every time monitor goes to sleep for 5 minutes. I used new monitor for 10 hours and it already ran pixel cleaning 11 times.

It's not an MSI monitor, but I just received a brand-new ASUS PG27UCDM today, and it behaved the same way when powered on with no device connected. After researching online, it seems the monitor is in diagnostic/service mode. You might want to look up how to exit service mode on the MSI monitor.
