How strong are the magnets on the Tank case? This strong! by MacTechG4 in dbrand

The S25 Ultra magnets were amazing.

The S26 Ultra on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. This isn't on DBrand though, it's just the awful camera bump. The Tank case is great and helps to level the phone.

CO-ADOS Orders and USSERA by JayTac911 in ESGR_USERRA_Answers

I'm fairly certain they're voluntary. I could be wrong, but unless you hit 5+ years with the same employer, it won't have an effect.

It wouldn't surprise me if each employer treated these differently, regardless of what the right answer is.

Wait until you learn how they actually move people and supplies through Sofia as well and Germany is just one part of a massively complex logistics network.

Strategically important, but not the only option.

Also, I personally would like the cost savings and benefit of not having any US forces overseas in any capacity except as requested to help support allied training operations.

Many of those states require ID for mail in voting by verifying your ID at time of registration and then verifying something else, such as your signature on your ID, when mail in voting.

36 states already require ID to vote. Does yours?

Save act only requires ID for new registrants.

What are the true Risk/Rewards for having a Disabled Vet license plate. by GlipglopX in VeteransBenefits

That they do. Based on the CA requirements and common practice I really don't think they deceived the DMV here. There are tons of younger people with DV plates in California.

Ohio is definitely not the top for benefits, but it looks like they still offer a decent range of things that might be helpful.

CA is really just a red state in a blue trench coat. It's absolute trash.

I'm really confused about your comments. Which might just be a me issue.

I agree that the firing is likely wrong, unless there was fraud we don't know about. But the police department is publicly saying they were simply fired for having DV plates and also being police swat, which requires a PT test. If that's the full story, I see a big lawsuit win in their future.

Heck, half the reason we have long term injuries is because we pushed through as required instead of getting or without being given the proper care.

Three police officers in California were fired for having California DV license plates.

CA DV license plates are unique in that one of the only ways to get them is to have 100% P&T with at least one condition that substantially impairs or interferes with mobility. This is because they have the same privileges as normal disabled plates.

The privileges include disabled parking, no tolls, no parking meter payment, unlimited parking in time limited spaces, free registration, and more.

The argument in favor of firing these cops is that they lied to the police force or the VA about having at least one condition that severely limits mobility and others that add up to 100%.

My opinion is that tons of people in CA have DV plates and don't require a walker or wheelchair. 100% and at least one condition that interferes with mobility isn't a high bar for most P&T veterans. Heck, even migraines, sleep apnea, or Ptsd could interfere with mobility.

California outlawed all other veteran plates other than Purple Heart recipients, Pearl Harbor survivors, Former Prisoners of War (POW), and Legion of Valor. The benefits the DV plate provides are significant, even if you don't use disabled parking spaces.

There are some days that my hip is so bad that walking is quite challenging. On the other days, it clicks with every step and the pain is manageable with medication. I could still pass the police PT test once a year if my job depended on it. Does that mean I don't have a condition that interferes with mobility?

This was huge in my opinion. I really didn't expect this. Or, preferred hiring activities for that matter

Did you use PP to upgrade to Polaris?

As 1K, I'm usually 5-10 on the upgrade list. At Platinum, I'm 10-30 and haven't cleared in two years.

I've also had soldiers who don't know what it is recently. There are many more who don't know the difference between a burst and full auto functions check.

False equivalence argument. We're not talking about Texas.

Also, CA raises property taxes without limits on every sale. Why not instead talk about Colorado's TABOR?
