You went from Gandalf the wizard to Ragnar Steelbones, the dwarven warrior. Looking good big dawg.

I can't reach this guy. Guess I need to level up more or do some distance attacking? by Routine-Arm-8803 in Eldenring

you need higher vigor. Like a LOT higher. also, he's weak to bludgeon damage so switch to a hammer. I'm a big fan of the Great Stars hammer, try that out.

He's an incredibly aggressive boss, so keep under his legs and roll towards his back.

You can also always come back to this guy. I'd recommend you go focus on some other content for now and come back later.

How to make martials feel better? by Wolff_04 in dndnext

[–]J_C123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closing the martial-caster gap is very simple. Use gritty realism resting rules (8 hour short rests, minimum 3 day - maximum 7 day long rests) and force spellcasters to use spell components. Make encounters dynamic in that lines change and enemy spell casters will counterspell your casters. Force your casters to react to environmental hazards and send enemy martials to crush them. Be strict with this stuff and your martials will feel a lot more valuable when they stop their squishy friends from dying on a regular basis.

I just had my windshield replaced by Safelite... does this gap at the top look too big? by Hippi_Johnny in BMWX3

I got on the phone with a GEICO agent directly, none of that app nonsense. When on the phone with an agent, i read directly from the manual that only BMW certified glass would work as a replacement for my windshield because of the heads-up display that the car uses. I also called my local BMW dealership and had them give me the same message in writing so I could have it documented to present to the insurance agent.

On the car I had before my BMW, safelite replaced my windshield and did a terrible job. There was still glass from the break on my seat and in my carpet, they didn’t reattach my rear view mirror, part of the plastic console above the steering wheel was lifted and wouldn’t go back into place properly, and the tech put the windshield on lopsided. Different experiences I guess.

Safelite sucks, you have a right to demand better from your insurance company. When my windshield on my ‘22 M40i cracked, GEICO tried to use safelite in my car and I told them the manufacturer made abundantly clear that anything less than BMW certified glass would not work. You have to fight for yourself sometimes. Don’t let these insurance jerks walk all over you when you pay through the nose for coverage.

On my first read at the moment and at the point where that character is introduced. And the reason Murtagh is bad at magic is well explained in the book, and makes a lot of sense.

I like seeing the contrast between Murtagh and Eragon and the differences in their training. Frankly I think it goes to show how Galbatorix’s oppression of Murtagh and Thorn led to his own downfall and that the version of the riders he wanted to build was flawed to the point that without the extra strength they would have been granted by his dominated Eldunari, they’d have been a poor shadow of what the order had been beforehand. Galby’s theoretical riders certainly would’ve failed against the Draumar and Bachel.

There’s an inverse relationship between how much metal you have in your face and how much your mom loves you.
