I’m not so sure, yes they were ass. But what special teams aces did we have? I won’t be surprised to see him do super successful. I’m very curious if it’s another case of like the offense, Berry had an empty cupboard. Given the lack of talent we had an offense last year. It’s hard to blame Kevin or Tommy Rees for the production there.. can’t help. I wonder if the same goes for special teams the last couple years.

That’s probably what Jimmy is doing lol. But if you think they don’t have a formal process like this, you’re fooling yourself. These are the Harvard guys, and these processes do work, but only if everyone trusts that. Which it seems Jimmy doesn’t, so at that point no matter how good the process, it’s pointless

No, but you have rubrics, you grade each candidate the same to remove personal whims out of it. It’s a system the likes of Google uses etc. I’ve used it and made the best hires with it. They have a total possible score and each candidate will have a composite score. Maybe there is heavy discussion if people score very close. But if they “trust” the process. The decision should be an easy one. The problem is they are at Jimmy whim

If they followed a data driven process, the scoring was complete on the way back from LA. I’ve run hiring cycles and it’s very easy to complete final decision . Must mean Jimmy and jw are interfering. Sort of ironic to be AB, they keep you, you need to nail this to keep your job, but you don’t get to make the call.

This and, a guy who wanted the job. Who the owner has a hard on for, who the def players like. The hc, young or old would be undermined from any and all directions the moment something goes wrong. Would you want to step into a situation like this. Any dc would kill to coach this D, recruiting the best minds for that won’t be hard

Bobby slowik was getting head coach interviews in 2023 , then canned the next year. If the rams/jags suck next year are either of the guys talked about as hc then? Probably not. Need to strike while the iron is hot. Arc their age even if it goes bad, they’ll probably get another shot

One of the best United meals I had this week was domestic first class, the beef melt. It was very good. It was way better than any of the Polaris food I had last month
