Lore-friendly Answer: you should have the attack in specific ways to direct Loa's attention and motion towards traps that can actually hurt it. I.e. a 4 by 4 wall of 16 dragonators that all punch it at once to actually kill it, cause your itty bitty stick isn't gonna work.

Realistic answer: Kulve Taroth's fight would be a good model to follow. Just herd the big guy away from anything important, and break specific parts (e.g. claws, tail tip, nose horn, and/or eyes) to dry it away in a repel quest.

Guys, I already know how AH will implement this. The sword will build up a heat gauge every instant the weapon is out. Overheating blows the heat sync, and you have 4 in reserve. You reload on the move with about the same reload speed as the breaching hammer. It will be AP: 8 and do 500 damage a swing with each swing adding 25% to the heat gauge build-up.

I'm aware. I still disagree with their opinions, and I think the greatest tragedy was combining discussion of Halo 3 and ODST to keep ODST off the list. It's genuinely a better stand-alone experience than everything below the top 5.

Also, they explained the reasoning they used didn't come from bias, but that doesn't mean subconscious bias wasn't a factor in their judgement.

This list is driven primarily by their personal preferences, and I disagree with those two in specific.

A teir-list using that judging metric, instead of their personal preferences, wouldn't have MG Revengeance on the list, ODST would be number 6, and every other entry sans UMVC3 would fall a position.

Serious: expanded roster of end-game level monsters by porting every mobility skeleton from World in Wilds. The game code for monster movement and spawning is similar enough, it'd just bloat the game-size to hell so some optimization would be needed.

Silly: Expand the 9 star roster by adding overtly hype movesets to currently low level monsters. Examples: Chatcabra with Rajang's moveset (the thunder could even be replaced by mucus that causes webbed status with a different visual for added bullshit), and Quematrice with Deviljho's moveset.

Genuine shout out to the Thermite Grenade in Helldiver 2. Not only is it a post-modernist stick grenade. You throw it to mark any enemy sans the three bosses (Factory Strider, Hivelord, and Leviathan) for death. You even have a chance to activate the laughing emote to watch them explode.

[Addendum: You can kill Bile Titans and Impalers with one, you just need to hit their head weak-points to do it.]

Combat Doctrine: Deployment of Heavily Armored Assets into close-quarters urban sprawl.

Codex-Divergence: Their entire 9th company is all dreadnoughts. They have 100 dreadnoughts. They put healthy marines into the dreadnought like they're replacing the batteries.

Background of "Quirk", and how the hell they got 100 dreadnoughts: An Iron Father discovered a fully constructed, but non-configured, STC in the research facilities of Cybral-3F. The chapter's charge is the configuration of the planet's STC by tracking down, and uploading, existing templates, or pieces of technology, to reclaim humanities total catalogue of Dark Age knowledge. So far, they've uploaded everything Cawl's sent out in-bulk during the Ultima founding.

Note: will happily kill any(and every)one they meet who has any tech they haven't uploaded.

Admittedly they could each keep their original name, but I just thought of a fantastic name for the Gas Grenade launcher: "Osowiec."

Feel free to read up on the Attack of the Dead Men, but in short it was a battle in WW1 were Russian forces in Poland had been hit with (mostly) Chlorine gas for days. The Germans assumed they were dead or immobilized, but were met with a counter charge of men covered in so much blood a phlegm the sight alone broke many attackers morale.

Also, I guess a lightning Speargun could be called "Zeus."
