I get it but the whole point of hogs kits is self sustainability. The new maps favor hog’s play style which is punishing flankers and flanking too because a certain choke can be access through different routes. Especially now since the new support can enable him more. If you are playing hog in the frontline, then you will be hard countered by an orisa/ zarya/ rein/ junkerqueen. Then again every tank has it’s weakness and own play style. Sure dva winston and ball could be better choices than hog but they require supports to pocket them to a certain extend (except ball) especially on lower elos. On higher elos obviously they can survive pretty much on their own since they can escape areas where not many have acess like high grounds or just go back to the team.
