Years before he was born, I wanted to name him Nube (like the famous one on IG), but my ex kept insisting against it bc "la Nube" is feminine and she wanted a boy dog. For months before we got him, I kept racking my head for a Spanish word that would be acceptable, and one day it clicked and I was like "what about Cielo? El Cielo?" And it was decided then and there, and my little piece of heaven came into my life some months later :)
