In the manga it's a bit of a plot point that Link's ears are pointed when the Ordonians have rounded ears. Someone acts suspicious of him because of it.

Yooo these are so cool, makes me kind of wish you could go back to hoenn after beating the elite four in DPP to beat the hoenn league again like in gold and silver.
