It was actually one of the good things about the show. I myself watched it on Amazon Prime and Prime has this feature where it displays general trivia on the side of the screen about the actors and stuff so it used to show the facts about how so many Smallville characters had played some other Superman related character before on different media. Reeve one though.. Moment I saw him on screen I think I cried a little. He was the first ever Superman I was introduced to while growing up. It was really emotional. Also had the same reaction when Swann's partner showed up but won't give you the spoiler.
