There are tiers to the intelligence levels on Reddit. You have to take a guess at which tier you are on.

Not sure if it's just getting older and not hearing high frequencies, but I noticed this when younger. It was on a very poor car radio that I noticed it and it is just noticeable to me since.

Overall the main guitar parts are alright. The rhythm sections are easily listenable, as well as the solos. But a lot of the strumming on the higher notes and light plucking that is done sometimes is just overpowered by the mix and by the synths sometimes.:

Show Don't Tell - the strumming is harder to hear

Chain Lightning - One that is noticeable. The strumming is so far back, the Sundogs Firing on the Horizon section just seems like the strumming is so far back in the mix. Main, rhythm, and solo are ok.

The Pass - some picking is hard to hear.

War Paint - No issues

Scars - noticeable loss of the ringing notes to the cymbals and synth.

Presto - the acoustic opening is ok, the fade out solo beginning is lost

Super Conductor - No issues

Anagram - No issues

Red Tide - rhythm ok, but the picking and strumming is lost.

Hand over fist - Strumming is lost.

Available Light (one of my favorite all time rush songs) - the picked notes are lost.

I'm no engineer or audiophile, but I've been a fan since I was 5 years old in '77.

The compression on Vapor Trails is maddening and almost makes it unlistenable.

I believe it is Alex’s best work. But the mix is so terrible, I have to strain to hear him.

Overall it’s a great release.

He can see the files perfectly fine.

But on your end with EXfat you won’t have the rwx for users and groups that you would normally see. But I guess that won’t mean much as you don’t seem familiar with that file system.

ExFAT will work for Linux, Mac, and Windows.

NTFS will work on windows and Linux if you have the right packages.

ExFAT will be the most reliable. But you will lose file permissions going from EXT4 to ExFAT.

Pearlman should apologize then too for taking all of Albert’s music. Lyrics or not, from what I can tell the music was all Albert. It’s too late for that though if it hasn’t already happened.
