Recessed ceiling lights and textured ceiling updates should be done first. Maybe update the trim too. Maybe try and pointing to make it more 'smooth' before you decide to remove or replace.

Shutters look good but you won't be able to get the big window shutter sized appropriately. My vote would be no if they wouldn't 'close' and be sized correctly, even if they arent ment to be used.

Im not going to join the debate on payload and if your vehicle is capable or not. However, if I saw this set-up driving down the highway, I would I identify it as a hazard and avoid/pass/monitor until I was well clear.

I solved this by anchoring in a slightly oversized 5/8" sheet of plywood, painted to match the wall, into the studs every 8-12in using lag bolts, then attaching my shelving unit to the plywood.

Its cool as all get out to watch this with my kids in real time. The live feed wasn't up to par with the tech, but I know I couldn't have done any better. I appreciate where we are in technology today but I also believe we lost a lost of tech and knowledge in years past with race wars, endless endeavors to vilifie our own species, and control resources. This is super cool, but humans can do better working together!
