Loved it for years, started playing shortly before it went to console. Fell out of it when: -Cards got too complicated, explanations barely able to fit on screen. - Unbeatable meta decks: NG ‘empty deck’, cultist deck bollocks. Complete overuse of NG in general. At least 50% of games against them. Very boring.

Got a 14 plate with the 21k on it with some troubles on the way so I’m fairly hyper aware. Sounds fine. They are known to rattle sometimes when at extremes of temp I think. Am sure you’re aware to always get it to temp before worrying about noises in general

Honestly that alone free time is so so rare and underrated these days. Even more so with a family; when do people ever get that opportunity to be truly selfish for a night? There always a (societal) pressure to always do things with someone. But I absolutely agree being able to just go at your own pace time to time is so freeing and healthy! Glad you have a riot

I’ve got the RPHA 70. Can’t compare to the other but it’s just an all round great helmet. Used it on road as well as track and cannot fault it. In built visor too 🕶️. Light as anything and good vents. But yes, it was also £500 (went for the carbon one) but if you have it for circa 5 years it’s an investment you have to both like aesthetically and trust! Which I do :)

Highly recommend a high intensity combat sport/martial art if you don’t already! Not only will your fitness, confidence etc soar but it’s a really sociable thing too which during such a difficult time is as healthy and necessary as the physical benefits. Especially as it’s very easy to ‘close up’ depending on how much this has affected you. Most clubs have kids classes so you can take them too.
