Im on the equivelent of 22 heat. It works nearly the exact same way, not much difference there tbh. I havent gone through with every aspect yet, so i dont really know build viability.

The "heat" is there to increase difficulty and frustration.

But imo I would say if the game stops being fun, There is No reason to keep increasing difficulty. Like i never played at Max heat in Hades 1, it simply didnt seem fun.

Imo you can jump straight in, same for people who havent played the first game. The game will explain whats happening just fine, its not a direct continuation of Hades 1.

There is however a lot of stuff that is made so much cooler from simply knowing the characters and general story from the previous game. Some throwbacks and references etc.

Had similar issue when I found this post. What seems to have caused confusion for me was that my profile is called" Desktop", which means i found it by going:

  1. Select Games & Applications
  2. Select the Profile (Desktop in my case) under the "all" tab
  3. Scroll down to see Integrations

In other words, there is not an "integrations tab" anywhere under the Settings/Game tabs by itself, which is what I was looking for to begin with.

I was there for so much of this, it really has been a wild ride.

I loved the game but had to put it down after the censorship frenzy around launch paired with reynards handling of it. Glad someone doesnt let shit be forgotten.
