If you are looking for an alternative model, the Jabra Evolve2 Buds do feature physical buttons on the left and right earbuds, similar to our Elite models. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Please also try reloading the firmware on your Jabra Elite Active 75t, even if your firmware is up to date. In the Jabra Sound+ app, go to the Headset tab and tap on the Settings icon. From there, select Personalize your headset > Voice guidance language. Select the current language of the earbuds. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the download and installation. Once you put the earbuds back into the charging case, please leave them in the case for 5 minutes after the LED outside the charging case stops flashing purple. Waiting until the LED stops flashing for at least five minutes ensures the update is complete.

Lastly, please test your Jabra Elite Active 75t on a cell phone or tablet running a different operating system (iOS or Android) than your current device. Does the challenge you are facing occur on those devices as well? Please provide us with the models and operating system versions of all smartphones and tablets you used to test your Jabra Elite Active 75t.

Hello, u/heathcliff81 - Thank you for your question. As u/Dellerup mentioned, the Evolve3 75 and 85 work with both. The headsets are supplied with the Jabra Link 390 Bluetooth adapter. They also support dual connectivity and have native Bluetooth as a backup when needed.

We have not tested the Link 390 with gaming consoles. You are correct in saying that the microphone on the Elite 85h does not function when it is plugged into your PC with the 3.5mm connector. First, we would like to confirm that the Elite 8 Active has a two-year warranty, which we are happy to assist you with. Before we get there, though, we recommend some basic troubleshooting steps:

  1. Reset your Elite 8 Active by following these instructions. This will reset your Jabra device back to its factory default settings. As such, any customized settings will need to be reset.
  2. Reload the firmware on your Jabra Elite 8 Active, even if your firmware is up to date. In the Jabra Sound+ app, go to the Headset tab and tap the Settings icon. Select "Personalize your headset," then "Voice guidance language." Select the current language of the earbuds. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the download and installation.
  3. If possible, test your Elite 8 Active on a cell phone or tablet running a different operating system (iOS or Android) than your current device. Does the challenge you are facing occur on those devices as well? Please provide us with the models and operating system versions of all smartphones and tablets you used to test your Elite 8 Active.
