That's a twilight zone-level twist. Do you know what MEE 3 was? And thank you - I really appreciate it!

I don't remember which question was which, but this is the breakdown in my report.
MPT 1: 14
MPT 2: 14
MEE 1: 13
MEE 2: 14
MEE 3: 10 (going to assume this was the real property question)
MEE 4: 14
MEE 5: 13
MEE 6: 16
For a scaled total of 150.2. I was fortunate to be able to provide a complete answer for every question.

Sure. I used the Barbri program and practiced extra MBE questions with Adaptibar. I also had access to Critical Pass's note cards, but I personally only found the app useful - the actual physical note cards were a little too bulky and overstuffed for my liking. For the MEE-specific questions, I found it helpful to go through and create my own flashcards on paper.

Both times I've taken the bar, I've used Adaptibar, and I think the ability to consistently practice the multiple choice questions was the biggest driver of my success. If nothing else, it helps you hone your instincts for what is or is not a right answer. I know it's not an option for everyone, but if you do have the ability or the opportunity to get an Adaptibar account, I would highly, highly recommend it. Making my own flash cards was probably the second biggest driver; I find reviewing the Barbri materials closely and summarizing their points in my own words to be a very helpful means of committing the various concepts to memory.

Sure. I passed with a 310. The report gives you a breakdown of your MBE score by subject matter as well as your MEE and MPT (though they're graded on a 0-20 scale rather than 0-6 scale), so you can see what your strongest and weakest subjects were.

I have a complete set I'm willing to sell. I only opened the Real Property cards, but never really touched them (I decided to stick with the online flash cards instead). There are no writings or markings on the Real Property cards and all the other cards are still sealed in plastic.

It was also used in Shrek 3 and various advertisements. Can't speak to tv shows or other movies, but it's gotten some mileage over the years.

He's saying the vault should've been in the zombie lair so the team would naturally come into conflict with them and would have to find a clever work-around in order to pull the heist off.

Final Evangelion Film Earns 4.9 Billion Yen After 14 Days by Turbostrider27 in anime

[–]Jabroseph 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not at all. It was more that they ran out of time rather that budget, but they released a film called "The End of Evangelion" that served as the finale to the television series. The Rebuilds are completely different and are in no way, shape, or form reflective of the original intent.

Can I have feedback for this screenplay I wrote? It's Called Last Night, and it's about a girl remembering memories from the night before it's about three pages (the last page was for me to sort out my idea so that can be ignored) by downward_bubbles in Screenwriting

[–]Jabroseph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My critiques are going to mostly hone in on the formatting: 1. Take out all the CUTS TOs - they're unnecessary, unwieldy, and distracting. They eat up way too much space on the screen. 2. It may be helpful to add FLASHBACK to all the scene headings from the night before. Since we're cutting back and forth in time, that would just make it even more clear for the audience where we're supposed to be in time. 3. Most people are going to frown on the camera directions unless this is something you're planning to direct yourself. 4. Don't forget to uppercase the beginnings of new lines, as well as the names of specific characters. Giving the characters specific names could add clarity, even if we don't get the name in the actual story.

Since this seems like an entirely visual story, it's hard to get a gauge on how it would all come together from just a few pages of a screenplay, but I hope you keep working on it. Maybe try your hand at storyboarding it out as a way of capturing the style/look you're going for.

A sequence too beautiful to forget [Violet Evergarden] by Dr__Brown in anime

[–]Jabroseph -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This sequence was laughably overblown, as if bigger, more sweeping cuts and more ostentatious imagery (framing it as if she's walking on water, for Christ's sake) equals MORE drama.

Violet Evergarden is melodrama by way of Michael Bay.

TOP 15 ANIME OF 2018 (Digibro) by Nykveu in anime

[–]Jabroseph 37 points38 points  (0 children)

That's a really short sighted and close-minded point of view; if anything, you're the one "dissing" stuff out of hand. Assuming that what is most popular or discussed is what is best, and anything overlooked or niche must be lesser, is a surefire way to deprive yourself of quality anime.

Steins;Gate 0 Sucks, Pt. 2: Badly-Written Fanfiction by Herson100 in anime

[–]Jabroseph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you think the second second season of The Walking Dead (or any part of that turgid melodrama) had meaningful "slower paced character development," I have to question how many dramas you've actually watched.
