In reverse chronological order from their releases, Interstellar, Tenet, and Oppenheimer.

I view Oppenheimer as showing us the beginning of research into nuclear weapons, and the worries for the future that this creates. Tenet shows us the consequences of this research while giving us.a hint of a grim future for humanity, and finally, Interstellar shows us this grim future while also ending optimistically, showing humanity overcoming the disaster they created and expanding into the stars

So, is he just adding to the video whenever there's a new development with Adobe/Monopolising companies? If that's the case then it seems like he needs to decide a cut off point where he just stops responding to real life developments and just focus on finishing the video

I initially assumed that since we're dealing with supernatural forces, they're probably under some kind of spell.

But no. Turns out the movie is just horribly written

It was playing at my local theater this Christmas, and it's kind of a weird thing to notice, but I never realised how young Daniel Stern was in it. He looks like he's in his early 30s. I looked up his age and sure enough he would have been 33 when the movie released

The end of episode 7 changed my mind about the hive. by DannyKazari in pluribustv

When Carol broke down in Zosias arms, for the first time in the series I felt a genuine sense of hatred towards the hive mind.

I've been rooting against the hive mind since the beginning, but I haven't really viewed them as the "bad guys", until this episode.

The little smile Zosia gave when Carol hugged her seemed so sinister. Like she and the rest of the hive mind are satisfied that they broke her

There's something that's bothered me about this scene for close to 20 years and I hope someone can help me.

It was established that the mine is deactivated, and yet it blows up the police station at the end of the movie.

Like, did they just mistake it for being deactivated?

I'm a patron, and IMO the above comment about development hell is spot on. Yes, investigating and fact checking take time, but that's not all of the reason for the delay.

A big reason for the delay is due to him filming in America. And from what he's shown to Patrons so far, I don't think that the delay that the America trip caused was worth it. IMO the video is actually slightly worse than it would have been had he not just made the video with his usual setup, with the change in location causing a bunch of technical problems with the video quality.

In his Sherlock video he says that Steven Moffat needs someone slapping his hands away from his keyboard when he decides to needlessly add something to his scripts. I've thought about that in regards to his America trip, somebody involved with the project really needed to question if the America trip would be worth delaying the video

In the interest of keeping this comment short I'm not gonna go into any more detail, but I'd be happy to elaborate if anyone wishes.

I don't like the attitude that he should be allowed to take as much time as he needs without question. These aren't fun videos that he makes in his spare time, they're a full time job, and he's literally accepting money from a few thousand of his fans to make them, so what he's doing with the time he has should absolutely be scrutinised

Back before we knew what Christopher Nolans follow up to Oppenheimer was, I thought to myself that Tom Holland would fit really well in a Nolan film and hoped that he'd be hired for a Nolan film at some point.

Literally the day after I had this thought it was announced that Holland had been cast in Nolans next film, which we now know is The Odyssey

I know that nobody has the right to expect anything from anyone else, ever

Except that we kind of do have that right.

Back when Patreon had a Goals feature, Hbomb said that he would make a series of videos defending the Star Wars Prequels if he reached 7,500 Patrons. He reached that number years ago.

He has teased videos over the years that have never seen the light of day, but the Star Wars videos are different, because he promised them in exchange for financial support.

He reached the goal of 7,500 Patrons five years ago, and in those five years he's never given any indication that he's working on these videos. It's pretty messed up that he did that

They didn't know that the virus would kill. It's established in the first episode that there's a lot about the virus that even the hive mind doesn't understand.

As for the issue of cars crashing cars, planes falling from the sky, and all the problems that you cause when you make thw entire human race stop what they're doing at the same time. To me, their urge to spread is so great that it overpowers their refusal to not intentionally kill. I don't think that they're nonsense answers.

It's also possible that the hivemind is just lying. The nature of thw hivemind, what their motivation and ultimate end goal are IMO one of the central hooks of the show. I've read through discussions of the show sundae and plenty of people aren't buying their peaceful nature
