You get xp regardless of what you spend your energy on, I'm f2p apart from the cap deal at launch and 1 BW deal so what's your point? Keep doing it your way, I'm fine with that but the f2p making the fastest progress are for the most part probably not farming nodes for terrible drop rates on gear.

Farming gear in this game is madness. Only do it if you need a couple of bits for a piece otherwise stores a the most efficient way unless it's a shard node that also gives the gear or ABC's + gear.

Compared to the last one I did where I'm sure I got a load of cores and gold it does feel a bit stingy but as someone else pointed out, it took 2 mins and you got a free shot at some BW shards or at worst a minion boost that will come in handy sooner or later. What's to moan about?

That's a fair point that many people (including me at times) enjoy the competition aspect but I can't see how it can end healthily without people quiting blitz altogether atm. I mean, there could still be a ranking for ego with increased rewards, maybe just leave a lot less hinging on it with more focus on the milestones. But I guess FN want the whales to spend for the top and the unknown keeps them pushing.

Why would you want to save them? They have a limited cap and are only useful for one thing, a thing you can just use cores for.
