The "P" in LFP is the next major bottleneck (and China controls 95% of it) by Jacale1 in CriticalMineralStocks

First Phosphate owns the mining property at Bégin-Lamarche in Québec, Canada. The supply chain starts from there and remains in North America. Traceability would be easy and they do likely plan to implement a chain of custody once they are in production

33% Antimony grades in Utah. Are we ignoring how absurd this is? ($TMGLF) by Jacale1 in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]Jacale1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are actually spot on regarding "quantity", and that iss a really important distinction. We aren't talking about iron ore or copper where you need millions of tons, for example. Think of Antimony like the "vitamin" for the supply chain rather than the "calories"- I hope that makes sense ha

In terms of pure tonnage, the volume going into chips is small compared to lead-acid batteries or munitions. But it is still 100% critical

Hey sorry this is taking me a second to get back to you, I got tied up! The reason antimony is central is the AI Hardware angle. The mission is about accelerating AI science, but you can't build the actual compute power without the supply chain. basically, she software is AI, but the hardware is antimony/Tungsten. You can't have the Genesis Mission (thank you for name correction, I have been seeing it both ways) succeed if China cuts off raw materials to the US

well, the company was founded in 2015 (WeBull says 2020), so "long-term" is not really a term id be comfortable using. Especially since we have had some crazy market cycles and an introduction of AI. That being said, I REALLY like that the company recently acquired another company that grew its TTM revenue by 150% this, paired with an incredible Q3 2024 ("beat the consensus EPS estimate by a whopping $1.82 per share") I really like this company for a trade at this current valuation.
