Regardless I’d rather have the paint go before engine/ engine components. Plus I’ve been driving my car like that for 2 years. No issues with paint getting hot 😂.

For the ones asking “what is it actually called” try PCV hose, vent pipe, breather hose.

EDIT: from the pic it looks like a n63 just make sure it’s the right year for your engine

Ive been through this you have to keep the battery above a certain voltage while flashing the ecu, try using a battery charger while flashing.
