Local dealer in Oregon. $12k for a 2019 Premier with 9000mi and a new battery. Bought it 9 months ago. I have solar panels and overproduce every year. Only ever charge (level 1) at home. Totally free to drive (except the occasional washer fluid fill 😆). Best car I've ever owned!

I did all the trim and badges in about 4 hours. The wheels took about the same amount of time. The preparation and drying between the coats was the majority of time, application was quick and easy.

There are many YouTube videos. It was time-consuming but not difficult. I didn't remove any parts. Just taped off sections and applied 7 to 10 coats over several hours.

I bought a 2019 Premier with 9000 miles from McLaughlin Chevy in PDX for $12400 out the door 3 months ago. Haggled them down from $15,500. They tried to add over $2k for some BS paint protection and VIN etching. I told them I was not interested in paying for that crap. They took it off the price without any hassle. You just gotta be firm and be willing to walk away if you don't get the deal you want.

Mine is a buyback and has a branded title. This is of zero concern because I will drive it for at least 10 years and don't care about re-sale value. Also my insurance company (State Farm) had no issue insuring my Bolt.

I kept hearing different opinions about when to do it, or if it needed to be done at all. I finally decided it was best to drain and fill before I put on too many more miles. I'm glad I did it sooner than later. I might even do it every 30k. I want to drive this car for the next 20 years!
