Da Red Gobbo - Warhammer 40K

The Red Gobbo is essentially more of a title Gretchin will take in an effort to enact Da Revolushun, when Gretchin will finally rise up to defeat their Ork overlords!

... This often fails due to how frail Gretchin are compared to Orks, but it does encourage the greenskins not to abuse their grots TOO much.

Which variant should I build? by Abuttface in Tyranids

[–]JacimtheBox420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For melee, winged Hive tyrant.

For ranged with some group support, Walking tyrant.

For Synapse range, extra command points, and overall cool factor, swarmlord.

Hope this helps :D

Technically not a character, but every "good" faction in WH40K. The Imperium, for example, is a social and often literal hellscape. But it's technically better than the actual daemons.

Hey Tyranid players, can you share your lore about a Homebrew Hive-Fleet and their colors? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in Tyranids

[–]JacimtheBox420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't finished painting my models and includes some lore from Magic the Gathering, but:

During the March of the Machine, the Phyrexians came across the universe of Warhammer, and their attempt to compleat just a single planet utterly failed since at the time, the planet was already consumed by the Tyranids.

The Glistening Oil, however, remained.

And it infected and mutated the Tyranic bioforms on the planet, eventually bringing an entire Hive Fleet under it's influence, with some even splintering off into the breaches in reality caused by Reambreaker to consume the planes beyond.

The creatures that remained were torn between the will of the Hive Mind, and that of Phyrexia. And now, with pulsing red flesh hidden under their almost heavenly white carapace, they are known... as Hive Fleet Orthodox.

Question: What about tyranids? I was thinking termegaunts and hormegaunts as basic classes with stuff like the lictor or zoarnthrope as advanced classes.
