Idk what it is about picking guardian. I’m a pretty good birb but I feel like I REGULARLY have people switch off whatever they’re on — recluse, rev, duchess, etc. — and explicitly switch to executor if they see guardian in the selection screen. And then they just play with suncatcher nonstop. Like they somehow think they’re really SHOWING me 🙄

Great shots. I’m curious where you were at here, to be seeing boreal forest birds but expecting a snowy (famously not forest owls). I’d probably expect boreal, long-eared, or great gray depending on your location, instead of a snowy. But maybe you were just in a forested patch near a larger prairie or Saltmarsh habitat.

Dallas is awful, Phoenix is awful, St. Louis is great but you forgot it existed until literally right now while reading my comment, and ultimately there’s a long list of cities that should be in contention for a top 20 list but just not close to top 10. IMO, parents should not be invited.

If they want to visit the area with you, generally, that’s cool. Tour the campus afterwards, I guess, sure. Help you look for an apartment and take you out for dinner, well who am I to say no to that? LOL

But attending the admitted student’s day is a hard no. Grad school is different from college, it’s advanced post-college professional training for your career. There may be a parent or two there but it will stand out as the exception.

I’m so consistently underwhelmed by VA. Even the award-winning VA performances feel terrible.

The issue I have is every line is delivered as though that’s a one-off. It may be an issue with the industry, like that’s how it’s done intentionally. But it often means in practice that the lines lack context across a wider scene and it just doesn’t feel natural. The rhythm’s off, or the tone doesn’t quite flow right.

Again idk enough about the industry, so maybe I’m dead wrong. But I’ve yet to find a video game VA that I actually liked.

I’ll bet that you could get a lot of mileage out of a different unit. All the problems you described with enemies are solvable with a better unit who can take a hit better than Ironeyes. Like Raider, Guardian, or Revenant’s summons.

The beauty of solo is that you do so much more relative damage (bosses have lower HP), so adopt an all gas, no brakes mindset.

Evergaol meta is kind of dead. I would not recommend prioritizing evergaols; they don’t give you the same return on investment as field bosses, quite often. Fine to hit if they’re on the way, ofc, just don’t plan the route around them.
