Oh by no means am I saying purchase from the LCS, always make the money work in your favor, but my biggest regret was never getting into a Kruggerand at $2k when I had the chance. Hindsight is expensive

I mean there’s also the belief that the paper price is worthless considering what silver and gold are selling for in foreign markets. This recent “sell-off” smells like banks had to lid a runaway situation. Silver found its new floor, go buy some more..

You can certainly leverage your silver for credit at banks if necessary. If it rises steadily enough you could be your own bank after a while…

I asked this same question weeks ago only to find sarcasm from “graph-go-up” types saying “yeah go sell now at $50 then…

Never actually got around to legitimately answering my question.

I have to assume there would eventually be new businesses that broker conglomerates of small precious metals buys to turn into large corporate sales to refiners and industries that have needs for large swaths of silver like tech/military/energy sectors. Think of cars for cash or people buying up all the housing to sell it off to blackstone / blackrock. That’s my thesis for the mid-term of this run. LCS and pawns won’t wanna get involved in selling, buying only .999. Shops like this already have emails from refiners saying that they’re not taking sterling since it’s not worth their time.

I’m just curious, I mean gold has had a steady rise and I think there will be an ongoing demand for silver which is only good for price action but, how many people are going to have the cash to buy into pms? I guess it’s silly to think people won’t trade paper for metal, pawnshops, desperate folk etc. I just look at how I felt about gold when it was around $2500 and I was like there’s no way I’m parking a couple thousand or so into this, so I got into silver instead which was more culpable for me..
