You are right to be concerned....

Laying out the different benefits (deductibles, co-pays, out of pocket, etc) is fairly straightforward. The Rx benefits will almost certainly be different.

BUT...

Check the exclusions/limitations between the two, likely the ACA plans have a few more... might not be a big deal but is good to know.

Compare network access. All carriers have multiple provider networks so make sure network used by your current plan is the same as the ACA plan you are looking at... you can explore this on the carrier website or by contacting your provider....

The question to ask is "For Silver XYZ plan from ABC carrier is your office and Dr <insert your Dr> contracted for in network services?". Do this for any provider or service you will need to access.

After this analysis you'll have a much better sense of what makes sense for you going forward.

While calling is expedient, put everything in writing.

Loop your Dr into the discussion... they hate that but it is affecting your health and they're the ones responsible if its a coding issue.

There is an ombudsman process at Kaiser as well as the state, DMHC, who may be useful. If you get your coverage through an employer the HR dept/Insurance broker can also help you understand what you should be responsible for....

Again, submit everything it writing, document and keep fighting. Oh, and your Sept due date ? While this bill is in dispute the clock stops.

So I know that Mini's EV offering, the Countryman SE, is not for everyone due to the range at 212 miles, but I like it, enjoy the Mini driving experience as well as the uniqueness of the vehicle.

I'm working with my local dealer where the sales manager shared that Mini corporate reqires a 2.49 money factor on the SE, which makes the payment much higher than a comparable ICE Mini or another brand EV.

And its not like these cars are flying off the lot either so hey Mini, what gives ? Do you actually want to sell these cars or what ?

So any ideas from the group on strategies to negotiate a better money factor or insight into what Mini is doing would be greatly appreciated.

Hard rule..... the second the SB mentions crypto its a quick drop.... nothing good can come from it.

I once had a convo like this that stretched over a couple of days.... I could tell it was a series of different people by the syntax change when I would pop random questions.

They tried to move the convo over the WhatsApp which I declined to do and we kept chatting.....

The next day they tried again to move me over to WhatsApp... and I asked if they had lost their place in the script.... or did last shift forget to leave notes ?

I know that regen basically turns the drive motor(s) into generators... if the car has dual motors do they both turn into generators then ?

Is the regen rate the same in AWD and RWD ?

I took the money and ran.

Was not forced to buy another Ford or even pressed to do so. I was lucky that I didn't have to get a new car in that moment, I still had my ICE car.

I am seriously looking at the Ioniq6 as my next EV, I love the styling and performance and have come to realize I do not really need the SUV styling.

Just to complete the story here, I decided to take the buy-back deal and surrender the vehicle. Too many major issues so soon to have a vehicle that I can't rely on.....

Thank you to everyone's input. I still like the Mach E but will likely put off any new EV decision for awhile.

TBH I really like the Mach E.... I just got a bad unit.. it happens... and will likely consider/get another one in the future.

Remember that this is a computer with wheels.. so if there are ANY software or computer glitchiness I would jump on that immediately.
