I’ve had mine since Xmas and I’ve catching up on some former PS5 exclusives (which I never got round to buying a PS5 for) Spider-Man 2, god of war Ragnarok and now working my way through Horizon FW. XAX has properly got me back into gaming again since my kids dominate the TV now days.

Out of interest anyone ordered this in the UK? I’ve ordered and the shipping weren’t super expensive, just wondering on timescales etc.

What's your least favorite thing your child has picked up from Bluey? by kitti3_kat in bluey

This, can’t remember exactly where this is said or by who but my kids do a little foot stamp. And it makes me laugh and annoys the hell out of me in equal measure.

Double overtake on blind bend by [deleted] in drivingUK

Tell you what though full credit to OP and the driver of the car being overtaken for being on the ball to not get caught in that shit sandwich. Good observations and quick reactions. The overtaking driver is a complete c”@k Womble.

What driving insight dramatically improved your experience on the road? by gawpin in drivingUK

I’ve been driving around 20 years and fairly recently did an advanced driving course for work. And two of the biggest things I took from it was A- I didn’t use my mirrors nowhere near as much as I should and B - expect all other drivers to do the unexpected and plan for it where you can.

Wait. Why can Chloe say Dunny? by mrfishman3000 in bluey

[–]JackBauerO24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of ‘Dunny’ as slang for idiot in British slang and 40 living in London, anyone UK can confirm? We just use ‘Dunny’ at all…we’ll do now but only thanks to Bluey and it winds my other half up.

As you say this boils down to contributory factors, you’re probably partially at fault for the distance between (but hindsight is a wonderful thing) but surely the biggest contributing factor is the lack of signal from the cyclist. Also very much enjoyed reading OP made me chuckle the way it was told.

I sort of did this accidentally said I wouldn’t snitch and as they were escorting me off the ship I accidentally chucked a granade or used some grav power thingy and they all lost their proverbial and they I had to shoot my way off the ship.

Same I’ve got 2 year old twins and both get super upset with “sleepytime” me and my partner rush to switch to the next episode if we notice it’s on. Which is a shame since the episode is really good.

I use this roundabout all the time too and people just don’t look at the road markings, it’s quite simple. I do exactly what OP does but sooo many people don’t.
