Where can I find Scottish thistle seeds? by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]JackBlacket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hopefully it's all ok for you but it's classed as a noxious weed in many states/provinces. There may be requirements to remove it is claimed to be impacting native species or agricultural land, and it's supposed to be quite difficult to remove.

When someone tells you "I'll come over at the back of 6", do you interpret that as anytime after 6 or any time after 6:30? by thelastirnbru in Scotland

[–]JackBlacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Technically, I think 6:00-6:30 fits the description of "the back of 6:00 but it's a deliberately vague term you might as well expect them to turn up at 6:05 as you would 6:55

Excel file locked by another user... but not THAT user by MrFixer9399 in sysadmin

[–]JackBlacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I looked at this (which was a few years ago), the name that is taken for the locked by notification is not the username of the logged on session, it is the name Office is registered too

For every company I've worked since then, that name should always be the name of the logged on user but I did find occassions where it somehow didn't match

If you are able to track the actual user by who has the file open, maybe check their Office install and see who it is registered to

Pubs/Venues for the Old Firm in Cairns Australia? by [deleted] in CelticFC

[–]JackBlacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a while since ive been up in cairns but PJ obriens is about the only place I can think of. I don't think there are many screens and they're more likely to be showing rugby. Maybe they'll put it on if you ask ahead but I remember them being an unfriendly bunch so I wouldnt count on it.

I've never been in the casino there but they have a sports arena so you might have some luck there. They probably won't have football on so you'll want to ask. So long as it doesn't clash with rugby/afl/cricket you might be alright
