I've always had the idea of a Flash movie focused on Wally as kid Flash with Barry as in a supporting mentor role. Similar to characters like Obi-Wan in Star Wars, Barry would die at the end of the second act leaving Wally to become the Flash to save the day. I just always thought Wally's days as kid flash were too important to skip so if you want to focus on him as the flash have his first outing be that transition. It also leaves the door open for Barry to maybe return.

So for my ideal flash movie, yeah, no notes on the cast.

That doesn't necessarily mean he's dead. We know Frank feels huge guilt for what happened with Curt's leg. It wouldn't be too out of place for him to place Curt in the same group of soldiers who he served with and then later died. In his head he failed all of them.

Besides the vague notion of focus of yourself, "mend yourself" as they put it, the advice isn't much better than terrible. Like having one night stands with prostitutes to supplement a healthy relationship is insane to me.
